Lives up to the hype
A brilliant bit of kit, I was a little sceptical to its ability to produce brilliant gelato / sorbet but first two uses and it’s genuinely perfect. It doesn’t take up a huge deal of space and though loud during the blitzing process it’s nothing you wouldn’t expect and it achieves results quickly. We’re absolutely in love already

Worth the prep
Got one of these after constantly seeing recipes for healthier ice creams that looked lovely. Time is required to prep and freeze (for 24 hours), but the outcome is worth it. Definitely recommend looking up videos for tips on how to get better results to avoid being disappointed.

Several batches can be prepared with the Ninja Creami Deluxe as long as you take small breaks in between them. There is no specific limit to it. This unit features a unique safety system that prevents damage to the motor and drive system should you inadvertently overload it. If the unit is overloaded, the motor will be temporarily disabled. Should this occur, follow the reset procedure below:
1 Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
2 Allow the unit to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
3 Remove the outer bowl lid and paddle. Ensure no ingredients are jamming the lid assembly.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that maximum capacities are not exceeded. This is the most typical cause of appliance overload.
We do not recommend making a smoothie or processing hard, loose ingredients, such as frozen fruit. Fruit must be crushed to release its juice or combined with other ingredients and frozen before processing. The Fresh Fruit Sorbet recipe in the inspiration guide provides an example of how to make a treat from fruit that is crushed to release its juice and frozen before processing.
All parts, except for the motor base, are top rack dishwasher safe. Do not wash any part in the bottom rack of the dishwasher.
We suggest beginning with a frozen base, which could be fruit, ice cream, or something else, and then adding your favorite pour-in to create the ideal slushi.
For the recipes included with the CREAMi, you can replace regular milk with unsweetened oat milk at a 1:1 ratio, use unsweetened coconut cream instead of heavy cream at a 1:1 ratio, swap vegan cream cheese for cream cheese also at a 1:1 ratio, and choose vegan yogurt in place of yogurt at a 1:1 ratio. Remember to select unsweetened alternatives and whisk the coconut cream separately before incorporating it as a substitute.
