Very well packed and secure carton. Though already in a pot had to purchase a more heavier pot (from Argos - of course!) to put item inside as first gust of wind knocked tree sideways. Packaging does state tree needs needs to be protected from frost.

I bought 2 of these trees for my garden. I was pleasantly surprised when I removed them from the box. It comes in a heavy pot. I did put them side by side in a larger planter and filled the planter with small stones to weight it down. It really makes the garden look more interesting. I added a small solar light to the stones and it looks great in the dark. The trees have been through the worst weather, heavy rain and wind and looks the same as when it came out box. I would buy more of these.They are pricey but hopefully last a long time.
