The Ebac 4850e 21 Ls Dehumidifier tackles condensation, damp and mould head-on, giving you a healthier home environment. Designed for properties with up to 6 bedrooms, it covers spaces up to 225 square meters with Smart Control technology that automatically adjusts performance as humidity levels change throughout the day. Extracting up to 21 l of moisture daily, it works efficiently to dry out damp spaces and even features a dedicated laundry drying mode for quicker clothes drying indoors.
Smart app connectivity lets you monitor and control humidity levels remotely, whilst 2 speed settings give you flexibility depending on conditions. At 44 decibels, it runs quietly in the background, and auto shut-off kicks in when the tank is full so there's no risk of overflow. Bought this product recently as have ongoing damp problem in a bedroom. And WOW! Is it effective. The easy to read display has counted down from 82 to 57 units of moisture in a few weeks. Quiet running. Easy to empty. Should have bought one sooner.

My Review for Ebac 4850 21 Litre Dehumidifier
I bought this several weeks ago, following a family recommendation, I’m astonished by the amount of water removed from the house, this is with water access rooms closed, I.e. kitchen & toilets. I have two running just at night, and 7 litres is removed each night. I wouldn’t consider my house as damp, certainly there are no signs of this, which leads to my surprise as to the volume of water removed.

“ We advise against using electrical equipment in bathrooms. However, to reduce excess humidity, you could place the dehumidifier on a landing outside the bathroom and leave the door slightly open. ”

The 5 year warranty is ONLY when purchased direct from Ebac. It has 12 months by default and 3 years when registered with Ebac they wanted an additional 70 pounds to upgrade to 5 years.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ebac 4850 21 Litre Dehumidifier: ''The water collection container on this model is 3.5 litres.
How often the unit will need to be emptied will depend on the amount of moisture that the unit is extracting from the property.''

The Ebac 4850 21 ltr de humidifier DOES have a continuous drainage facility, the hose is available as an additional item.
Yes, you can do continuous drainage. Have a look at accessories here on ebac website, cannot post direct link here. There is a small rubber plug at the rear to remove and connect a hose

You could place near a wall but not against as you need to keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction. Although, we do strongly recommended to locate the dehumidifier central in the room it is being used in to ensure that safety is paramount.
