What a brilliant vacuum. I previously used Dyson but gradually started to get weaker and shears needed hair pulled off the brush. This is amazing and literally no hair (we are a household with 5 long haired people. Great suction and I love the bend feature for under furniture.

Bought this Vacuum due to coming in a package deal, needed a vacuum for my new home and loved everything it comes with, including the technology aspects. Serves a great purpose for being anti hair, flexible reaching corners and under furniture and lasts a good while before needing charging. Really pleased with this purchase and was decently priced.

Loved it but dissatisfied
I loved this hoover but have had 2 now and both have broken in the middle where it folds over. After the first time it happened I’ve been so careful pushing button and lifting in to position but yesterday it jammed and wouldn’t move there was no way it was lifting up without a bit more force on which it broke and you can use but only as if you were hoovering underneath a low table. Such a shame ax it’s picks up really well and is a great hoover

Shark Stratos Plus Pet Pro Disappointing
Not best pleased with this, it’s much heavier than my previous ones - and I’ve had several - and very much noisier. I don’t like the on/off button where it is and I wouldn’t buy this model again.

I spent months reviewing the top 10 cordless vacuums before deciding that the Shark Stratos Double Battery was the one for me. I loved the anti odour technology and double battery aspect. I have been using the vacuum for a month now and I have not been disappointed. It is incredibly strong, lets you know when there is a lot of dust to pick up, informs you of the battery life and really doesn’t get hair tangled in the head. Before buying this vacuum my carpet was smelling of my dog but now the musty smell has gone thanks to the anti odour tech. Now I have 2 battery’s I never have to worry about the time spent in each room. There is a squeak when I pull the vacuum back but I have put that down to the tightness of the new parts and am hoping it will go over time

Good hoover but wont last!
I bought this hoover 2 years and 2 months ago. All was fine and working well (apart from the 'pet tool'), debris pickup fab, hair wrap feature brilliant, runtime awesome, suction first class, until 5 months ago. It started to develop a whistling noise for no obvious reason. I checked everything including the filters (which are regularly cleaned) and cleaned the parts I could well. I did this 4 times and then gave up and decided to put up with the whistling sound, until a month ago when we had to stop using the shark hoover, the actual performance of the hoover was still very good - it picked everything up and the battery life was brill! However, 5 months later and I can no longer use the hoover, the whistling sound is so high pitched and horrendous, it really hurts your hearing and is now intolerable. It has also developed a funny smell (not a burning smell) and is obviously broken. I am genuinely disappointed! We had our first and previous shark hoover for 5 years and counting, we still use it for cleaning the car and at our work and its still going very strong. The 'pet tool' that came with this hoover is beyond poor, it simply does not pick anything up and never has, in all honesty it was pointless to even add the tool on because its completely unusable - nothing like fantastic pet tool on our previous shark hoover. I now need a new hoover and would like a Shark but I now don't have the confidence to buy Shark again as I don't want to risk spending money on a hoover that might not last and since we bought this Shark haven't bought a new upgraded similar hoover out. Honestly so disappointed and genuinely gutted!

Well constructed and very effective vacuum
I’m going to directly compare this Stratos cordless to my Dyson V11. Firstly the machine arrives beautifully packed - each individual item wrapped in paper and supported by layers of card inside the outer box. The machine is easy to put together. The Stratos is considerably heavier than the Dyson. It’s not unwieldy however and feels robust. When ready for use, the Stratos is not free standing, nor does it offer wall mounting. Storage is tidy however, since it folds to half height for daily storage. I would estimate suction to be greater than the Dyson, although both machine are very capable. A significant advantage over the Dyson [which needs a change of head] is that the machine adapts when used on hard floors and carpet. I rated this very capable machine 4 stars since I have found battery life to be significantly shorter than the Dyson. Thankfully, this deal came with 2 batteries, which recharge to full capacityin a couple of hours from empty.

To move your Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Plus Pet Pro from the upright position into cleaning mode, place your foot on the floor nozzle and gently tilt the handheld unit back. This will engage the brushrolls and allow the vacuum to begin cleaning. If you need to clean under furniture or reach lower areas, press the unlock latch located on the back of the wand and adjust it to a lower angle for easier access.
The total weight of the IZ400UKT vacuum, including the floor nozzle, is 2.16kg when ready for use. The stated weight does not refer to the entire contents of the box, but specifically to the vacuum itself with one battery fitted and ready to operate.

You just push a button and use the hoover, it’s also extremely lightweight (surprisingly) so if you’re like me and struggle with your hands, both features are excellent.

To change the battery on the Shark Stratos Pro Anti Hair Wrap Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:
First, detach the vacuum cleaner from the charging dock or power source. Locate the battery compartment (usually near the handle or base). Press the release button or slide the latch to remove the battery pack.
Take the replacement battery pack and align it with the contacts inside the compartment. Push it in until it clicks securely into place.
Once the new battery is in place, turn on the vacuum and check if it’s working properly.
