Impressive bit of equipment
I'm really pleased with my cleaner...I specifically bought the upgraded version with extra battery and motorised small brush head.... this makes it superior to any previous cleaner I used when tidying up the car, stairs and awkward 'to - get - to' areas. Performance and technical specifications are impressive and it's great to use....I'm glad I made the decision to buy it !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Dyson hoovers before because they've got super suction and I've got a big very hairy dog so needed something with plenty suction and this hoover really never disappointed me at all. I did buy a different cordless shark hoover before for my work and thought it was absolutely rubbish, it was forever clogging up and was just useless so was wary of buying this one for myself but the reviews were good for this so decided to give it a try, I've had this a few weeks now and it's great. The only thing I don't like about it is the motorised pet tool, it just doesn't seem to glide on the stairs and the normal floor tool is to big to do the stairs properly. Instead of gliding over the stairs it seems to kind of get stuck in the carpet so it takes alot longer to do the stairs with the nozel but apart from that it's a great hoover.

You just push a button and use the hoover, it’s also extremely lightweight (surprisingly) so if you’re like me and struggle with your hands, both features are excellent.

To change the battery on the Shark Stratos Pro Anti Hair Wrap Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:
First, detach the vacuum cleaner from the charging dock or power source. Locate the battery compartment (usually near the handle or base). Press the release button or slide the latch to remove the battery pack.
Take the replacement battery pack and align it with the contacts inside the compartment. Push it in until it clicks securely into place.
Once the new battery is in place, turn on the vacuum and check if it’s working properly.

The width is 25.8cm. Which is with the width of the floor cleaning sweeper.
The depth is 24.5cm, from the front of the sweeper to the back including the battery.

The power supply for recharging can be plugged into the side of the battery while the battery is still attached to the vacuum cleaner. There is a small round hole on the side of the battery.
This is an alternative to using the double charger socket for two batteries. To use that the battery needs to be detached from the vacuum in order to be placed in the charger socket.

The Shark Stratos Pro Anti Hair Wrap Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner comes with 2 batteries. So you can have one on charge, whilst using the other. The batteries just clip on to the body of the vacuum.

You just use the vacuum on hard floors or carpet, it works fine on either without any changes.
There is no mention of any switch for hard floors or carpet in the manual. There is no switch on the handle for this. The only buttons on the handle are one for on-off and another for changing the eco-turbo-normal cleaning mode.
