About this product
The GC-ET 4530 electric grass trimmer offers powerful and effortless trimming for hard-to-reach garden areas. Its motor head rotates 180 and tilts to four positions for easy strimming even in hard-to-reach areas. Featuring a robust motor and user-friendly two-hand operation, it has an adjustable aluminum telescopic handle to fit all users. It includes an edge roller for precise border cutting and a fully automatic twin line feed for clean cuts. Additional features: flower guard, cable strain relief, guard hood. Supplied with 3 thread spools.
The motor head has four tilt positions and can be rotated through 180, so sharp contours can be created effortlessly, even on slopes and borders.
The stepless telescopic aluminium guide bar allows perfect adjustment to the user's height for fatigue-free work.
Thanks to the two-handed control with an adjustable auxiliary handle, the trimmer can also be guided through beds and around narrow corners.

Does not seem as robust as the one it's replacing but first impressions are that it does a very good job without frequent line breakages as with its predecessor. Auto line extension works well and manual is achieved by just pulling extra line by hand. Not yet had to replace a spool (3 spares provided) but should be simple enough. Well recommended for the price.

On checking the manual I can see you can not wind new wire onto the spool. Once empty the spool needs to be replaced.
