For the price this camera is superb, I have 2 now to keep an eye on our dogs. Works out of the box with no issues, if you don't want to pay for cloud just use a micro SD card instead.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Tapo C200 1080P Full HD Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Home Security Camera: ''Please note that Tapo cameras can only be installed and configured using the Tapo application on a mobile phone. Unfortunately, it is not possible to set up or connect the camera using a computer.''

If you don't have a router, you can pair the camera to your phone's hotspot.
However, after configuration, if you want to watch the live view or manage your camera remotely, your phone's hotspot must stay on to provide the camera with a stable network connection.
This means the phone must be placed near the camera, and the hotspot cannot be turned off.
