Good product. Noticed very slight oil seep
Good product. Noticed very slight oil seep from seal around oil top up area. As I'm to understand from reviews they can leak in storage box decided just to store with oil seal facing upwards in cupboard to avoid any long term leak in storage.

Very good and excellent value
Did a very good job of cutting through rock and shale to create a 0.7m deep hole for a large gate post. Only slight criticism is the option for a broader flat chisel bit. Had to buy one from another manufacturer. Very good performance and excellent value for the price.

Highly recommended! Great bit of kit
I needed to remove a concrete ramp to my garage put in by previous owner and considered doing it manually but knew it would take a long time and lot of effort. I’ve never used or purchased a demolition hammer before but saw the Einhell on offer and decided to give it a go. The instructions talk about grease for the tool shaft and oil for the machine, there is some oil already in the hammer but I was unsure how long this would last. I felt the instructions could have been clearer when specifying recommended grease and oil. After a bit of research I opted for Shell Helix HX5 15W-40 oill and Comma CV & Lith-Moly Grease, I’m still not certain these are the right ones but it worked. It would have been ideal if a small pot of named oil and grease were included to help customers when they need to buy in the future. Setting up the hammer was straightforward. I discovered that it was not just concrete but bricks, flint and other rubble under the ramp, the hammer broke it all up with ease and a job that would probably have been a days hard manual work was completed in under an hour! Overall, i am really pleased with the hammer, it seemed an extravagant purchase for the job but it made a massive difference and I would highly recommend!

SMASHING TOOL
Well I am well impressed with this hammer , just wished I had purchased it years ago, the tool is well built and excellent case, followed the instructions and topped up the oil supply before use, and it really is very useful especially for fencing jobs where you need removal of concrete, just effortless, it,s own weight works to it,s advantage, makes the job very easy. To me it is worth 6 starts.....

Packs a punch
Bought for breaking out buried hard material in a few post holes, as part of a small fencing project at home. The hammer performed well, and did the hard work. Much faster than the heavy iron bar I'd used previously. Despite being quite heavy, it was sufficiently manoeuvrable to be able to clean reasonably tight post holes. The holes were wet, and this appears to have caused the chisel bit rust very quickly. Also more wear to the chisel than anticipated, considering the short time it was used. Hence why one star deducted. The cost of the hammer appeared to be competitively priced, and I'll now look to sell on as a bargain, because I have no other projects for which I can justify keeping it. The box for the hammer is reasonably sturdy, but will need to be handled carefully. Online instruction manual is clear to understand.
