About this product
Shaping overgrown hedges or maintaining neat borders? The McGregor 60cm Corded Hedge Trimmer powers through medium hedges. It's a 600W electric trimmer with laser-cut blades. The dual action blades reduce vibration so your arms won't tire. You'll cut through branches up to 20mm thick. The quick-stop brake halts the blades instantly. Dual safety switches prevent accidental starts during operation. This corded tool provides consistent power without battery interruptions.
The 66cm blade length covers more hedge surface with each pass. You'll work comfortably using the soft-grip rear handle. It's lightweight at just 3.3kg so overhead work feels less tiring. The 8m cable gives you freedom to move around larger gardens. Safety and hand guards protect you as you shape hedges. This trimmer suits homeowners who want professional-looking results. The electronic brake adds another layer of control.

Customers Say
Lightweight, powerful hedge trimmer with a long 60cm blade, ideal for extensive hedges. Easy to use and good value, but some find it noisy and the detachable power cable can snag.

Hedge trimmer
Light and easy to use

Cheap and lightweight
Bought this as my last one died on me after 7 years hard labour. Dont think I'll get that long out of this one. It's lightweight and easy to use. The power lead is plugged into the trimmer which catches on anything g and everything, which is annoying. There is a hook in the handle to put the lead on as a safety measure, but it never stays on. My previous one was wired to the trimmer and as such almost no snagging on branches and such. Once this one dies, I'll return to my previous make and model.

Excellent
I bought this recently. I used to have a black and decker. This is amazing, trust you cannot go wrong. Light weight, cuts through the hedge so well. Powerful, safety cord. Highly recommend. And only £60. It’s better than anything I’ve used previously

Cheap replacement hedge trimmer
Bought as a replacement for my Ryobi. Performed well on its first use as I would have expected. It feels like value for money but time will tell as to how long it will last. Cuts just as well as my previous more expensive hedge trimmers. Would benefit from a hedge sweep accessory like Ryobi's.

No replacement power cable available
Good product. Light weight. Detachable power cable is useful in the event of accidentally cutting the cable. However I checked availability of a direct replacement cable only to find that McGregor does not do a replacement cable and their suppliers don’t actually have the replacement cable to purchase. Hence the four star rating. If they are listening, please organise cable replacement option.

Fantastic
A really good hedge trimmer. Wary replacing ours as we’ve had it years and it was a black and decker and excellent. But this one really measures up, cuts with precision, not very noisy and our extensive hedges are now in beautiful shape again. Really pleased and would recommend. A very good size too for the price compared to others seeming smaller.
