About this product
This 13A double switched outdoor power socket from British General is IP66 rated and designed to protect against water ingress in most weather conditions. Made with a robust, high impact UV stable outer, multiple gland entry positions and an ergonomic design, this socket also has LED indicators that can be seen through the hinged cover which acts as an enclosure for the socket. Designed with large open/close paddles for ease of operation, fast fix screws for ease of installation and a patented cable entry to prevent accidental opening.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BG Nexus Storm 13A IP66 Weatherproof Outdoor Double Socket: ''The standard 822/HC won't fit a WP enclosure, that's why we have the specific WP22/HC with a slightly adjusted version of the socket installed.''

Our supplier says "As we cannot know in advance whether an installation will be made using conduit, Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) cable or bare flex, nor whether it will be a rear-entry option, we have not wastefully supplied a wide selection of possible glands and grommets to cover all the possibilities.
The knockouts are, however, a standard 20mm diameter to allow for the appropriate gland or grommet for the particular requirements to be sourced separately."
