Cheap as chips
These solar powered lights were very good value and purchased for use in a flower border. However, they do not produce much light. Probably my bad for not reading the lumens info or for checking reader reviews. I couldn’t recommend these to any prospective buyers.

Brilliant purchase
Was checking on Google for stake garden lights when Argos popped up and other retailers , 10 Sainsbury lights on sale at a bargain price. Quickly bought them. Kept up to date with progress of purchase received email to say my collection was ready . Went to collect them didn't have to wait long . Got them home popped a few in my pots. Lovely to see lit up when it goes dark.

The supplier has advised the following for the Garden by Sainsburys Solar Marker Light - Pack of 10:
“ It is recommended to place in direct sunlight for 48 hours to charge the batteries to full power for the 1st time. The light will stay on for up to 6 hours. There is an on/off switch on the underside of the solar panel. ”

The customer needs to twist the top section in an anti-clockwise direction, the switch is located under the solar panel.

Twist the section with the solar panel off. Look underneath. Next to bulb is the power switch

However, the lights will charge and illuminate for longer the more sunshine they receive.
