I love this bath mat, so much better than a regular fabric one. It's not huge but that's ok. It dries quickly - from those first steps out of the bath/shower, those footprints probably dry so you can't see them in 5-10 minutes, splashes dry much quicker. It doesn't feel cold to stand on. It does get dusty quickly, but I give it a quick rinse over the bath and let it dry there for a few minutes. Be careful if you're using coloured products near it. I splashed it after washing my hair with purple shampoo, but after scrubbing 3 times with water, luckily it came out.

I would never go back to a ordinary bath mat after purchasing this. Its absolutely amazing and dry in seconds. No smells of damp bath mats or hanging it up to dry. A really good size too. The best £20 ive spent in years.

The supplier has advised the following for the Addis Functional Diatomite Quick Dry Bath Mat - White:
"The mat itself can hold up to 90kg/200lbs. It is incredibly strong and not overly brittle, although we would not recommend heavy impact to the mat, such as jumping etc.
The reason for its strength is that although it is composed of mainly diatomaceous earth, it has small quantities of other natural minerals, such as quartz, which when compressed into the mat shape, this makes the mat incredibly strong and suitable for use.
As for the lasting, the stone is naturally absorbent, so its life cycle depends on customer usage and maintenance. If the absorption performance looks to have slowed, we’d recommend sanding it with the sandpaper included to remove the top layer which may contain any coatings that may clog and restrict the mat’s ability to absorb the water."
