A good all round choice
I am very pleased with this product. Installation was the most straightforward that I have experienced for a printer. Printing is quick and the quality of print is excellent. Although two sided printing is manual, it is handled well.

It is a good quality printer for the price,
The price is good for a printer with a3 capabilities but, its a pain to set up! Can only use it wired to my laptop. After a few months of moderate use, printing colour a3 sheets, photo htv the quality seems to be consistent and the ink does last a while. Overall im happy with the printer.

Okay, but…..
This would be the third canon A3 printer I have bought in 12 years, the reason I buy canons is that when the last printer breaks down I always have a lot of inks left over which I don’t want to throw away. It appears that the printer only lasts 6 years before errors appear, when it’s out of warranty, it's difficult to repair and a bother to send it back to canon, who charge a lot. I’m only an occasional user about 3 times a week mainly for art work. I’ve given it 3 stars because the print quality is very good. Shame about the longevity of the product.
