An excellent printer which caters for all my needs except that I was hoping it would turn on when I send a print request instead of having it on standby 24/7. Otherwise perfect.

Cannon are lacking in Product Support for this!
I still haven't been able to print with this machine. The Cannon Customer Service is second to none. The printer is still showing a 'red' triangle; what is this? There is no Instructions manual which would be handy. How do you get this on line, when on line how is it printed if the printer is not printing! The problem is not with the printer but With Cannon falling short of its responsibilities! Why is the instruction panel not illuminated for ease reading and understanding!

Easier to set up than I expected.
I was sad when my old Canon printer packed up after many years of useful service. I was also a little nervous about having to set up a new one, so I did my research and checked out some videos online first. In the end, the set-up process went very smoothly and I am really happy with the machine. I particularly like the liquid crystal display panel, which not only shows the amount of ink left in each of the cartridges but also the status of the Wi-Fi connection, which is reassuring. The double sided printing facility also works like a charm and saves paper, something that is good for the environment.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Canon PIXMA TS705A Wireless Inkjet Printer.
The front cassette is 105gsm mainly for plain paper, the back feed can take photo/creative papers up to 300gsm.

“ Since we do not manufacture edible ink or papers as this involves having to remove Canon components (the print head) and replace it, I am unable to comment on the compatibility of making this printer an edible printing machine. ”
