The Habitat Sammy 2 Drawer Desk provides a proper workspace to spread out and get things done without clutter. It features clean lines and a white gloss finish that keeps your room fresh and tidy. Two soft-close drawers glide shut quietly, ideal for pens, papers and essentials. A hidden compartment at the back allows computer leads to be threaded through, keeping cables out of sight. Not easy to build but nice desk
This had so many parts and took over 4 hours to build and I am good at this stuff. I gave up on the soft drawer closures, but the desk is nice looking, not quite as sturdy as I would like.

Lovely desk, tricky to put together
This is a lovely desk, solid and well designed. A bit tricky to put together - lots of parts and stages. Also glossy surface is easily scratched so had to buy a desk protector. But it does look great and is very solid. The hidden cable compartment is a very nice touch.

I bought the desk despite some reviews saying it was difficult to put together. It was actually okay, just do it slowly and keep referring to the instructions. Watch out that you get the drawers the right way round at the very end. Once assembled, it has proved to be sturdy and well designed, so I can recommend it.

High Quality! Takes a while to assemble
Very happy with this item, it does come in 2 boxes which are quite heavy to carry as a pre warning. It did take up to 3 hours to assemble but was very worth it. The desk is high quality and worth the price and time. Soft close drawers are luxury. The silver legs and gloss finish makes the desk look expensive.

Yes, the drawer height is different from cable compartment height. The screen is not supposed to be put on the top of cable compartment.
