Lovely basic hob
I bought this hob to replace my old one. I wanted something sturdy and with actual knobs to control the heat on the hob rings, instead of pressing buttons. This is just perfect for the job. The stainless steel gives it an industrial style vibe to my cooking space and is easy to keep clean. Well worth the price and delivered seamlessly by Argos. Very happy.

Bought to replace a similar hob purchased 2024
Basic hob needed for a rental house. I I bought a similar hob last year so I hope this one last longer. It has nice knobs and it comes pre wired. The sealing strip which is a foam rubber strip is not easy to fit. It's not clear from the instructions where it goes as the edge that sits on the work surface is very narrow. The foam strip is also too short so has to be stuck to the thin edge and then stretched between the corners to make it go all the way around. Often it would come unstuck. I tried sticking it next to the thin edge but it was not deep enough to make a seal. After some effort I got it to stay in place but a longer sealing strip mould help and design the metal that rest on the hob wider where the strip sticks. Once fitted it worked ok.
