Very disappointing TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we've owned this TV for about a year and I really don't know where to start. Our experience with this TV has been so disappointing - I can only think all these positive reviews are either fake, or the people have literally just turned it on. To start with, the colour is great but only if you are viewing pretty much head on. From even a slight angle the colour is pale and washed out, literally great from one seat on the sofa but disappointing from the other seat. But that's not the worst thing. By far the worst thing is the menu interface. Not only is the contrast terrible (white on grey, really?) but the text is SO SMALL you can barely read it. And it is SO SLOOOOOOOW, half the time you're not sure if you've pressed a button or not. When looking at the TV guide, you can be waiting up to 10 seconds for the programme information to appear. Another big problem is when watching live TV for a while, the set will go completely blank with the message "Restarting app to free up memory" or something like that. Once this starts happening, the only thing you can do to resolve it is to turn the set off and on again. By which time you've missed up to a minute of what you were watching. I liked the feature of either Freeview or Satellite tuners, but it's not simple to switch between the two - you have to go into the TV guide and switch it there at the top, it's really confusing. Also it's not easy to switch the subtitles on and off - you have to open a sub menu and scroll right to the bottom, and select subtitles and then off... Did I mention how slow the interface is? It's painful!!! And I don't know who wrote some of the apps, but you can't watch live TV on the Channel 4 app, and you can on the firestick. Also you can't restart from the current programme on the ITVX app, and again you can on the firestick. These are basic features that are simply missing from the apps on this TV. So in summary, this is a great idea for a TV, but the implementation is simply not good enough, and I definitely won't ever buy another LG TV and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Worst Tv ever purchased !.
This has the potential to be a great tv but it seems the processor it has been installed with is simply not upto the task of even being able to complete simple task such as too show an upto date tv guide. There obviously is a problem with storage and memory on the tv as it will at random shut down the screen and advise you it is clearing memory to which you have no control and as such i have missed numerous amounts of endings of shows whilst this action takes place. My overall opinion is this really isn't fit for purpose and wish I had returned it at an earlier date.

Great TV for in larger lounge room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV for in larger lounge room just I wish the software was good as the TV panel. The functions are ok but it could be easier to pair the tv.

Tablet or TV?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much more telly than we bargained for. Wanted a basic TV, got a glorified laptop/tablet. Much more than we would ever need.

Great I would say!
We just moved into a new house and needed a big TV for the living room. One of the things i was so happy about is that we measure it for the space we had and it fitted perfectly. The picture quality is a bit off when you choose cinema and at first it felt like the speed of the sound was faster than the movement of the picture. But i havent noticed it for a couple of days now. The other small issue is when an apps needs an update it the app just stops working and it doesnt tell you. But once you do it update you are good to go. Thanks.
