Easy to fit but read the instructions and make sure to fit the nylon ring otherwise you will be taking it down again as you can't do it once fitted..

This pole can not be fixed to the ceiling and is not suitable for a bay window as it does not bend.

This is telescopic, so it's made of two poles with one being slightly narrower than the other. You'd push the one into the other to get the desired length.

The supplier has advised the following for the Extendable Grooved Curtain Pole - Antique Brass:
"A common drill cross can do it."
However, the specific size and type of bit will depend on the wall to which it's being attached and the type of fixings you'd need to then insert into the holes in the wall, i.e. a brick or stone wall, or plasterboard, or wood, and so on. The assembly instructions do show how it should be done according to the wall type.
