The BT Decor 2600 makes communication easy. With it's simple design you can perform a number of tasks including blocking up to 1000 nuisance calls with the BT Hot Key. It can also be used hands-free and is hearing aid compatible. Answer machine has 30 minutes recording time. (You must subscribe to a Caller Display service from your network provider to block nuisance calls and use visual voicemail. Charges may apply. ).

For its intended purpose fine. Otherwise. not so.
Overall too light for my application with a somewhat large clunky keypad. Its primary function (which I hadn’t realised) is making it easy to bar unwanted calls/numbers. However the big centre located red button for this makes it too likely an user will inadvertently trigger the function unintended. Item wasn’t as expected so returned but given the right need would work fine.

Bought to replace Decor 2200. Only issue is display is mains operated and I do not have a suitable socket to plug into.

A Phone of the Age
Bought this to replace an old BT 1200 model Answer Machine. A little apprehensive since following the change to fibre the old phone had deteriorated until the sound quality of it was very poor and wondered if it may have been the fault of the change to fibre. Completely unfounded since the new phone works with great clarity and has interfaced seamlessly with my fibre system. Following inputting all the family and friends numbers into the phone's memory I've found the Call Blocking feature to be unnecessary since caller display tells me who's calling and whether I need to answer. This is probably more useful than actual call blocking since the nuisance callers appear to have found a way of hacking into other people's numbers to make their calls requiring a never ending amount of numbers to block. One of the features that is a bonus is the large number key pad, with my wife and I being in our early 70's we are becoming more aware each day of the need to cater for our deterioration in functions so this phone has the sight factor covered.

Fantastic bit of kit.
Well what can I say about this product? Besides the fact that it is the best £30 I have spent in my life. Great peace of kit. Was extremely easy to install and set up. Fantastic sound quality and ringer sound. The Call Guardian feature is superb, and the fact that when announced calls are taken and the phone calls you back no other phone in the house rings - therefore you know that it's an unknown call. The only down side is the fact this product is not wall mountable. Bought another one in Jan 2026. As the original one I gave to my mum when I got Digital voice. Still an excellent phone.

Great phone. Large buttons, and nothing too fancy. It’s got everything you need and it’s easy to use. This is a replacement phone for my elderly mum, who had the exact same last phone for many years and it was perfect for her.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BT Decor 2600 Corded Telephone with Answer Machine: The telephone line cord is 1.8 meters.
The receiver cord is about ½ meter long, however it could be stretched for about a meter long but because it is a curly cord the phone could be pulled away.
