The BT Decor 2600 makes communication easy. With it's simple design you can perform a number of tasks including blocking up to 1000 nuisance calls with the BT Hot Key. It can also be used hands-free and is hearing aid compatible. Answer machine has 30 minutes recording time. (You must subscribe to a Caller Display service from your network provider to block nuisance calls and use visual voicemail. Charges may apply. ).

Telephone is o.k. but when receiving calls it is quite quiet even on full volume to hear the person at the other end. The display window is not very bright for people with a sight problem.

Great phone
Having recently upgraded to BT/EE digital phone and internet service and preferring a corded phone I required a rmains powered phone as a replacement for the bedroom phone. I've not yet used it to make or receive calls so uncertain of the speech volume but this can be adjusted by the +/- buttons on the keypad. I already have an answer phone but apprehensive this would work with the new system I purchased the Decor 2600. I read the set up guide supplied with the phone twice, followed the instructions for connecting to mains and phone line via the digital adapter supplied by the digital service provider, then followed the set up wizard to set up the phone features and it works well. The answer machine and call blocking systems can be turned off from the menu. The set up guide doesn't give instructions on all of the phone capabilities so I recommend searching for and downloading the full User Manual from the internet which gives far more detailed instructions. It's been installed for a week and so far I am very happy with the way it works.
