About this product
Fits openings 73-80cm and sits Extra Tall at 105cm High. Simple to install and can be mounted straight from the box without the need to drill or screw. It can be extended up to 120cm with additional extensions. Ideal for Medium to Large breeds, gap between bars of 5.5cm. Made in Denmark, extra tall, strong, pressure fit gate is made from 100 per cent European steel and powder coated in a white non-toxic finish. The height of the gate is 105cm. Opens both ways one handed.

I bought this as I've an extra dog for a little while and wanted him to be able to sleep in peace without my dog nudging him. So we have put it up and he can still see everyone and go to his bed when ever he wants. It just means he gets his own space without been disturbed.

I brought this item after our two year old managed to climb over a regular sized stairgate (child, not a pet). It was easy to install and simple to use. It does the job, but a little tip, mind the door handles when fitting the pet gate, as they are generally at the same hight. So best to install it on the edge of the door frame so you can still close the door.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Scandinavian Pet Extra Tall Gate - Black:
This is usually placed in the door frame where your door would usually shut. Therefore, it depends on the depth of the door and door frame or if you are able to place it just outside the door frame itself. We can inform you that the depth of the safety gate is 4cm. The threaded rubber pressure screws have a diameter of 3.5cm

The Scandinavian Pet Extra Tall Gate – Black has a gap of 6.5cm between bars. You have to remember a cat can jump over the gate.

If you want to install it on the stairs, it is important to note that this gate is not designed for use on stairs and may not be suitable for your needs. If you want to install it at the top/bottom of the stairs, you should measure the width of the opening and ensure that it falls within the range of 90-223 cm.
