Great blind but awful instructions
The blind is great quality, but the instructions showed different fitting and fixtures than to the ones it came with. And the end fixing cubes open too easily, so leaves it feeling less than secure. Bought 2 of them and had to bodge both of them to get them up
Not the easiest to fit, but finished item looks good!
Smart, sleek and sophisticated blinds
These blinds have really improved the look and feel of our bedroom.
The fixing brackets have several different positions allowing the wooden tape blind to be mounted to either;
Inside Mounting - fit to the inside of the window frame.
Outside mounting - fit to the outside of the window frame.
Ceiling Mounting - fit to the window frame

Sadly we do not have an online copy of the instructions available to view.
I can confirm the slats are removed by releasing end caps, then pulling the lift cord through the slats you wish to remove, and slide them out of the blind.
A good rule of thumb is to remove 5 slats for every 18cm you wish to shorten the blind
Once removed you reinsert he lift cord through the end slat and reinstate the end caps.
Full illustrated instructions are included with the blind.
I hope this helps, Thank you for using Argos Q&A

The small print
To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children. Cords may become wrapped around a child's neck. Move beds, cots and furniture away from the window so that they are not covering the cords. Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.
