The Habitat Kota Sofa Bed sorts you out when you've got overnight guests but not a spare room. It's a three-seater sofa that converts into a small double bed with a simple click clack mechanism, no wrestling with heavy frames or fiddly bits. The velvet fabric feels soft and sits nicely in most living rooms or studios. Foam and fibre wrap filling keeps it supportive whether you're sitting or sleeping. Wooden feet lift it off the floor and give it a bit of character.
The mechanism folds flat in seconds, turning your sofa into a sleeping area. It's designed for occasional use, so it's ideal for the odd guest or a teenager's room. Specialist clean only, but the velvet holds up well to regular use. Minimal assembly required, you just attach the feet. It's covered by a two-year guarantee for peace of mind.

Excellent sofa bed
I've had many a sleepless night on a sofa bed and was hoping that I could do better for my guests. Its early days but I'm delighted to say this sofa bed got the total thumbs up from all 3 guests that have tried it. Easy to set up and comfortable as a sofa as well (although it is not my main sofa) I could not be happier with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this sofa bed.

No great features unfortunately
This particular sofa turned out to be the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever sat on, without being dramatic. As soon as you land your bottom on it (and not a heavy one, mind you) it feels like you are seating on a bare wood pallet. One would think that after taking it 5-6 weeks to make this sofa it would at least serve its purpose and feel comfortable to sit on. But no, every night I cannot wait to retire to my bedroom after, sadly, no joy of seating on the most uncomfortable sofa in the world.

If you need to move this to upstairs, through a narrow space, it may be best to assemble it when it's in the designated space.
