Great picture quality
I bought this after wanting to upgrade from a smaller TV. I wanted a budget-friendly option that still had a great picture primarily for watching sports. This TV was perfect for that.

Well Worth the Price! Reviewing after 1 mo
I was looking at other TVs but decided to go for this one, and the Android/Google TV system was definitely the win. The TCL 55P8K-UK has excellent picture quality, and the 144Hz refresh rate makes gaming super smooth. It’s lightweight, doesn’t heat up much, and the built-in Onkyo subwoofer gives surprisingly good sound. The “Hey Google” feature works from both the TV’s built-in mic and the remote mic, which is really handy. The remote buttons feel great — responsive and comfortable. Overall, fantastic value for the price

A very good Smart Tv packed full of features
After my previous smart tv overheated and the screen cracked i was after a Good replacement and came across the TCL 55P8K smart tv. The reviews of this were very good and i was impressed with my old TCL tv so stuck with the brand. It was a good price and the kind folks at Argos brought it to my Vehicle as i have Severe Arthritus.

Dissapointed
Was Dissapointed with this as it has 4 Hdmi slots that you automatically think would all be 4k but only one Runs at 4k which i think is a very big let down. A bit misleading I would say but other than that it works well. I almost forgot about this when trying to set controls through fire stick TCL comes up in list but is not compatible therefore does not work.

TCL 55P8K-UK Big Screen, Big Features, Real Value
I’m really happy with the TCL 55P8K-UK. The picture is sharp with vibrant colours, and it supports all the main HDR formats. Google TV is smooth and easy to use, and gaming feels responsive thanks to HDMI 2.1 and low input lag. The built-in Onkyo sound is better than most TVs, though a soundbar would improve it further. It’s not the brightest in very sunny rooms and the blacks aren’t as deep as more expensive models, but for the price it’s excellent value.

Fantastic TV for the Price
Probably the only TV in this price range that is Mini-LED, which looks fantastic. The image quality with a little adjustment to colour profiles is as good as far more expensive TVs, the local dimming zones really also put it above the competition in this price range. Audio is good for just TV speakers, there is some in built subwuffers that provide a bit of bassy depth, not the greatest things I'd ever heard, but I would very much say I am happy with what the speakers can do, at low volume dialogue stays clear, at high volume there also seems to be no distortion. There will be some reflection on the screen in darker scenes at this is a glossy screen, it's not terrible but something to be aware of when deciding where to put it. All the AI features can be easily turned off, if you, like myself are not a fan. Overall for the price this TV is excellent, I would highly recommend it.
