It's compatible with 26'', 27.5'' 650B and 28'' 700C disc brake wheels, with length and height adjustment to suit different frame types. The platform holds up to 27kg, making it suitable for panniers or a child seat. Installation hardware is included with frame inserts for straightforward fitting. A built-in mounting interface accepts reflectors or lights to boost visibility from behind. The rack provides a stable base for cargo whilst maintaining adequate clearance during use.

Solid, plenty of bag clearance from the wheel.
This rack fits a Carrera subway 1 hybrid perfectly. Because of the was it sits outside to clear the disc brake caliper it keeps my pannier bags pushed outwards enough so as to clear the wheels perfectly. I bought this one to replace a bad one I bought that clamped around the seat post then onto the frame by the wheel and it had zero clearance causing the corners of the panniers to touch the wheel when riding. I am so glad I found this one and I have no doubt it will last for a very long time.

Sturdy
I am very happy with how sturdy this rack is, as I have my child seat mounted on it and it will now safely carry my kid for a few more years. I installed it very easily and it fits on my 700c non-disc brake bike. I had one issue with it, as I had to remove my rear fender because of the metal plate that hangs down at the back (which is for attaching a reflector) would press down on the fender. This is a very useless thing to have on the rack, because you can easily use a bike light instead, which is what I do.

This is a really sturdy and reasonable weight pannier rack, that is competitively priced for equivalent weight and quality. It was pretty straightforward to fit and instructions were clear. Lighter ones are available but go up significantly in price

Sturdy and light!

To answer your question: no, this item will not fit a BMW 1 Series. It is a small metal frame designed specifically to bolt onto the rear frame of a bicycle (over the back wheel) to support saddlebags or panniers. It is not compatible with any motor vehicle.

The rack is compatible with conventional 26", 27.5", and 28" wheels - not fat tires. Its design doesn’t accommodate the significantly wider tire profile of fat bikes (~4") that require extra space. Thank you for using Q&A!
