Expensive piece of disappointment

This machine is almost triple what I normally pay for a vacuum so I was expecting great things, however, it has brought me endless disappointment. The positive points are that the cord is very long and the retraction button is very efficient, the vacuum looks nice and can be stored quite neatly. However, considering the price of this item, I would at the very least expect the bags to be reusable or cheap to buy but no, they are single use, have a small capacity and cost an extortionate amount to purchase, then on top of this you have to buy an even more expensive filter which needs replacing every 2-3 months according to Miele. With the size of my house and the fact we have a lot of people and dogs living here, one bag barely is large enough to do one full house vacuum and the filter becomes blocked quite quickly. On top of this it doesn't really pick up that great. The suction feels incredibly strong and will lift rugs but it doesn't actually seem to be able to suck the dirt from deep within the carpet?? Unfortunately I cannot recommend this item and will stick to my much cheaper and far more effective vacuum cleaners in future.

Slightly disappointing.

Initially, I thougyt this was great. I liked how it looked, how easily it could be put away, and that the attachments were placed so they would not fall off. However, after a few uses, the cord retract didn't always retract, and i found myself struggling to hoover as it was causing my elbow/shoulders to hurt with the repetitive motion to hoover up the dog/cat fur. I have previously used an upright hoover due to the joint pain I have, and unfortunately will have to continue to use an upright, rather than cylinder. I think maybe my expectations were high, as so many people have said that Miele is a great vacume!

Great hoover

The handle goes up and down for size which is fabulous. It glides well across the hard floor and carpet. I got confused putting it together but it was a silly mistake the company have lots of videos to help put it together. The bag seems like it will hold a lot. I prefer this to similar models it's compact and picks up so well.

Miele-hard to beat in my opinion

Miele are well known for good quality products. This hoover is no exception. It’s powerful and light, making it easy to manoeuvre, perfect for both carpet and hard floors with one simple click, light enough to carry whilst doing the stairs…Seperate setting allows you to hoover items like curtains etc carefully without too much suction. It’s a perfect all rounder, extendable hose and accessories making it perfect if you have pets as well

Powerful and good quality

Powerful and good quality. I was impressed about the suction power of this vacuum cleaner. Another good thing is that the filters don't let any dust come out. Easy to clean and maintain and as I said really good quality

Good corded hoover

Good hoover, easy to use and does a good job of cleaning. Requires a few go overs to remove pet hair but picks up general dirt easily. Not overly noisy and very compact storage and cord. Also not overly heavy for movability.

Miele L1 Guard Bagged Vacuum

Absolutely fab and really recommend. Heard of the brand before, but never used a Miele and I must say im really impressed. The suction is excellent and the vacuum is so easy to use. Minimal setup needed also

Amazing hoover

Wow this hoovwr is amazing. Iv had the miele coordless one before and that was amazing but this one is off the charts. Its super powerfull and not overly noisy. Theres different setting for carpets and rugs so you are able to hoover a rug without only vacuming in sections. I kove the colour. The fearures i love is the plug and wire retract and arnt noticable once so. The pole can go longer or shorter so great gor short jubs and for starage.

Good hoover but room for improvement.

I have used this hoover on hard floor, carpet, rugs and soft furnishings. I really like that all the accessories are connected so no bits and pieces can go missing. However a down side is when not using the hoover seems bulky with the hose sticking out. The suction is great and really does pick up all the little bits but I really struggled on the carpet and rugs. As there is no wheels on the underneath I found when pushing it along that the hoover head was jutting along and not gliding so really had to push down. The hoover was easy to set up and has a great carry handle for carrying upstairs and found the cable really long. I was overly impressed apart from the main head of the hoover.
