About this product
This 4-arm rotary airer gives you 50m of drying space, so there's plenty of room for all your washing without things getting squashed or taking ages to dry. It's well suited to busy households where laundry keeps piling up - just pop it up when you need it and fold it down when you're done. The umbrella lifting mechanism makes opening and closing simple, and the blue locking system clicks into place at four stages so you can adjust the height to suit what you're drying.
The steel pole is sturdy and stays firmly in place once installed, and it comes with a ground socket to help you fix it securely. The 38mm pole diameter gives it a solid frame, and when fully open it needs a fair amount of space to turn with a 2.7m circle. It weighs just over 4kg, so it's manageable to move around if needed. Replacement rotary line
Had to replace my old line as the pole snapped just when I hang out the last of my washing. Picked this ltem as same size pole and the price which fitted perfect so much better that the old one line taunt and spins well

Brilliant!
Bought this rotary washing line to replace an older, smaller line. Amazed at how much washing can hang at once...two full loads easily. Very sturdy, easy mechanism to put up and take down and stable fit into our original ground spike. Very pleased! Would recommend.

Good product
Bought this Rotary airer as the old one broke as it was 5 years old. This one replaced the Brabantia one that broke. When I unpacked it, I couldn't see any difference between this argos made airer and the Brabantia one apart from it being half the price. Very pleased as it also fitted into the base fitting that is concreted in to the lawn area. Can't see any downsides to this purchase.

Good Rotary Line
I have only used it once and I found it to be stable and secure as I don't put it into the ground with the spike I put it into my really heavy umbrella stand and it's easy then to move around the patio and to just lift it out iff you want to store it away but I leave it there with a cover over it. The only problem I have is that not being tall I struggle to reach the outer lines but not a problem as my son is going to measure it against me and cut some of the pipe down so it should be OK then. I would definitely recommend this item iff you are looking for a reasonably good priced Rotary Line.

Not evident from the description that the ground fitting supplied has to be set in concrete, and was not long enough. Had to purchase a separate ground spike.

Mine isnt concreted in and is fine! I bought a ground spike which my dad hammered into the ground for me and then this fits fine with the ground socket attached into the spike also.
My line is very sturdy, it also means I can remove from the ground if needed

The Home 50m 4 Arm Rotary Airer has a pole diameter of 38mm. If the diameter of your ground spike is less than this then it will not fit. A separate ground socket is supplied with this airer.
