Perfect for mum
I bought this for my elderly mum and it is perfect for her garden and holds the right amount of washing she has. It is robust, stable and was excellent value for money. It was also easy to install. She finds opening it a little difficult due to health issues but hopefully it will loosen a little as she uses it.

Does almost what it says on the tin!
Quite sturdy, yet light-weight to carry. Puts up and goes down easily. The 4 arms have slots to sit in when the line is closed - but they don't clip in. However, there is a strip of velcro provided to hold them to the pole - don't lose it! Also provided is a plastic tube, about a foot long ( plus cap) to hold the pole, which is supposed to be fixed into the ground to hold it upright. Suggest this is concreted in as the pole needs to be properly vertical to rotate smoothly in the wind - make sure the tube is perfectly vertical when fixed it in the ground or the pole will be wonky! Only downside is that the description says the line will hold about 5 loads of washing - I don't think so unless lots of small children's clothes. 2, maybe 3 loads of adult clothes at best. Double bedding is also too long for a side so has to be spanned right across the line so can only hold 2 at a time. But good product for the price.

The Home 50m 4 Arm Rotary Airer has a pole diameter of 38mm. If the diameter of your ground spike is less than this then it will not fit. A separate ground socket is supplied with this airer.
