Bought this as a replacement but found that it didn't fit our existing spike. Had to purchase a new spike which, although not expensive, meant that we couldn't use it for a few days.

The Home 50m 4 Arm Rotary Airer has a pole diameter of 38mm. If the diameter of your ground spike is less than this then it will not fit. A separate ground socket is supplied with this airer.

The Argos Home 50m 4 Arm Rotary Airer rivets are all in aluminium, so this won't rust. The central tubes are power coated Q195 carbon steel, so outer part will not get rust but the inner side of the tube might get rust if exposed to rain a lot.
