Each has a hush button to silence nuisance alarms when you've overdone it with the grill or left the bathroom door open after a hot shower. Batteries last about three years, and sensors last ten. The test button lets you check they're working properly. They arrive with batteries included, so you can get them up and protecting your home straight away.
