Grilling is Great
Absolutely delighted. I bought the latest version of the grill having enjoyed using an older one and it is so worth it Grilling is great now. So straightforward

Bit disappointed
Firstly, size was an issue. 5 portion size and I couldn't even fit 2 gammon steaks onto the grill plate. Secondly, I set it for well done with steaks. It was cooked through but lacked the carmelisation on the outside that I had expected.

Replace old cadac barbecue
Nothing fancy for the first use...but it cooked the burgers an absolute treat. Looking forward to more adventurous ingredients during our upcoming break in the caravan.

Big upgrade
This is a big upgrade from my very old George Foreman. Cooks perfectly , works out timing itself and very best bit the plates can go in the dishwasher oh and bought with a lovely discount

Unbelievable. I was sceptical at first but I've had 3 perfect steaks so far without having to check them. It is brilliant.

Not as great as it sounds
The grill itself works well, however the timings for the auto settings is way off. 12 minutes for a chicken breast which came out massively overcooked. It estimates frozen sausages as 30 minutes and they were cooked in about a third of the time. If I'd kept the box I'd have returned it. Disappointed

I have had this a week. And cooked steak, onions burger and toasted flatbread it really goes a great job, very easy to clean. And super easy to use. Looking forward to purchasing the accessories to make more food 😀

The removable plates on the Tefal OptiGrill+ GC7178G1 feature a non-stick PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating.

We recommend hand washing for best results and better longevity. In case of dishwashing always use soft detergents and load on the top of the dishwasher.
The Opti grill is designed to create great sandwiches and toasties rather than traditional cheese on toast.
