Nice bit of kit
Very pleased with this grill. I have had a few mishaps due to reading the manual fully. Didn't realise that there were different settings for the Manual Mode. All good now.

Peeling Coating and Poor Warranty Service
Unfortunately, my experience with this Tefal grill has been very disappointing. After some time, the coating on the grill plates began to bubble and peel off. I contacted the warranty service expecting the plates to be replaced, as this is clearly a manufacturing defect. However, the company failed to replace the parts during the warranty period. I am very disappointed both with the quality of the product and with the level of after-sales support. When purchasing an appliance, it is important not only that the product is of good quality, but also that the manufacturer is willing to honour its warranty obligations. Unfortunately, this was not the case for me. For this reason, I cannot recommend this Tefal grill.

The grill you never thought you needed ..!!
I was in two minds whether to buy this grill or not, after all i have a lovely cooker..but that changed when it arrived, firstly I purchased two steaks and I was blown away by the flavour and the ease of use of this grill.. it tells you when your steaks are blue, rare, medium and well done.. they taste like you just purchased them in a restaurant. It does a great job cooking fish, such as salmon and seabass .. and cleaning is a breeze, you can put the plates in the dishwasher or failing that a light wash in the sink.. as i said in my title, the grill you never thought you needed..

OptiGrill Elite XL GC760D40
Only had my OptiGrill Elite XL a few weeks but thus far I find it very good, I have pretty well tested all the available cooking options on it and find it cooks very well. Particularly impressed with the frozen food option as it does away from having to get things out to thaw the day before. I would say the only thing that I find a annoying is the sheer weight of the upper cooking plate does tend to squash food, Panini’s, sausages, etc although cooked ok, end up a little flattened. Other than this, great grill..

We recommend hand washing for best results and better longevity. In case of dishwashing always use soft detergents and load on the top of the dishwasher.
The Opti grill is designed to create great sandwiches and toasties rather than traditional cheese on toast.
