Dissapointed
I thought this would be an upgrade compared to my older vax but I’m not impressed and in the process of returning. It’s heavy, not very powerful and above all the rubber wheels scratch the heck out of hard wooden floors. Avoid if you have wood floors! It has a feature where the wand can bend but the head of the hoover is so large you can’t put it under couches etc anyway. It looks good and I like that it can stand up on its own but other than I’m majorly disappointed.

Good power
This vaccum is so good. The suction is powerful and picks up animal fur easily. So glad I purchased it. Only thing is if you do use the full power it does use your battery quite quickly. But I don't feel the need to use that as it's powerful enough.

Buttons are very difficult to use, had to file some off the plastic clip that opens the bin otherwise it would not release at all button to separate stem from bin very difficult to use Battery at the top is heavier than I expected All in all very disappointined

Excellent for pet hair.
I purchased this, mainly for the pet hair that always got tangled on my old cordless machine, this vacuum cleaner is brilliant for this, in never gets tangled at all, what a difference it makes, well worth the money.

Early days but it appears to work well, good collection of dust and small solids on both carpet and hard floor.. Good selection of tools with the package I purchased. Battery life average. Happy with the purchase to date. One downside is that it makes more noise than the Dyson it replaced.

Good value for money but has faults
Easy to use and very effective, haven’t needed to use the elbow as the head swivels enough, great suction especially on higher boost, two concerns, filter clogs quickly and entry to waste container has blocked twice, we have bought a spare filter as a quick change option. Good value for money with lots of useful tools to use.

I brought this 2 weeks ago. Its easy for me to use, I normally walk with 1 stick indoors & can manouvre this with ease. Good suction, carpets come up lovely. Works well on hard floors. Battery life as stated. Light weight.

"The Vax HomePro Vacuum is suitable for under the sofa cleaning and has a built-in flex hose for ease in reach and access to those low areas. I would be unable to confirm the specific height of the floorhead however this would be suitable to use under most sofa types."

Having checked I can see the Vax Cordless Car Kit is only compatible with Vax Blade 4 Vacuum Cleaners so would not work with this vacuum.

“ We don't have record of the air watts for our machines so this isn't information I'm able to provide.
In general, cordless units are as powerful as corded units, however over time this may fluctuate due to the age or charge of the batteries. A corded machine is typically more consistent over time, but the difference is minimal.
Suction power will be good on all machines as long as proper maintenance is followed, such as cleaning and changing filters regularly, ensuring there are no blockages, etc. ”
