About this product
The Vax HomePro Pet-Design Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is built for tackling pet hair and everyday dirt across your entire home. It runs for up to 45 minutes on a full charge with the VAX ONEPWR 4.0Ah MAX Battery, giving you plenty of time to get through multiple rooms. The FlexiClean pole bends so you can reach under furniture without getting on your hands and knees, and the motorised floor head drives bristles into carpet to lift out ground-in dirt.
It converts to a handheld for sofas, stairs and cars, with tools including a motorised pet tool, pet hair remover, crevice nozzle, and stair tool. The two-stage filtration captures 99.9% of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns, and the washable filter cuts replacement costs. The 0.7l dustbin empties via a slide mechanism with a full indicator. Weighing 3.5kg, it's a good cordless stick weight. The wall mount charges and stores it. The battery charges in 3 hours with a low battery indicator. Power boost mode adds suction, and it works on carpets, wool, rugs, hard floors, laminate, upholstery and stairs.

VAX PET PRO CORDLESS VACUUM Sew
Very pleased with the Vax Homepro Pet Design Cordless Vacuum cleaner, I have owned 3 cordless vacuum cleaners in the past ( the cheap and cheerful sort) so I bought this one and it hasn't disappointed, suction is great, charges quickly, empties easily, comes with good attachments, clearly shows you how much battery power is left, you can use as a handheld vac, it makes vacuuming the stairs an easy job instead of the chore that it is, I would recommend this machine, and the price was very reasonable.
Deb45, 65 or over
I bought the Vax a few weeks ago and I was not expecting it to be so noisy and it is heavier than I expected. It has really good suction and relatively easy to use.

Hugely disappointed.
We have had a Dyson for a number of years and have been quite satisfied. However, that ‘broke’ and as cash flow was a bit tight we opted for your product on the basis of price and reasonable reviews. I have to say that we are quite disappointed with the Vax. We find it quite unstable when not in use and the very top panel where the controls are, came off when it fell over. This is now broken internally and we really need to somehow tape this panel in some manner. Apart from that, in use we find it very heavy, somewhat unwieldy and it doesn’t ‘flow’ over the carpet as we would reasonably expect it to. We would not buy another Vax product and would certainly not recommend one to anybody.

Great run time
Very happy with it , great run time , The only negative is the flimsy tube cover in the middle. I understand the concept but it really is unnecessary. East cleaning cone roller brilliant.

Great vacuum lots of extra tools which are all labeled which I find very helpful. The top is quite heavy when using it on its own.

Hello Gt4bro,
The supplier has advised the following for the Vax HomePro Pet-Design Cordless Vacuum Cleaner:
"The Vax HomePro Vacuum is suitable for under the sofa cleaning and has a built-in flex hose for ease in reach and access to those low areas. I would be unable to confirm the specific height of the floorhead however this would be suitable to use under most sofa types."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi There,
Vax HomePro Pet-Design Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
Having checked I can see the Vax Cordless Car Kit is only compatible with Vax Blade 4 Vacuum Cleaners so would not work with this vacuum.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Smurgy,
The supplier has advised the following for the Vax HomePro Pet-Design Cordless Vacuum Cleaner:
“ We don't have record of the air watts for our machines so this isn't information I'm able to provide.
In general, cordless units are as powerful as corded units, however over time this may fluctuate due to the age or charge of the batteries. A corded machine is typically more consistent over time, but the difference is minimal.
Suction power will be good on all machines as long as proper maintenance is followed, such as cleaning and changing filters regularly, ensuring there are no blockages, etc. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
