About this product

The Phoenix Ottoman Bed gives you a full-size sleeping space plus hidden storage underneath, all lifted with a smooth gas piston so you can reach bedding, luggage or seasonal items without rearranging the room. It's built from solid rubberwood for strength and durability, with a sprung slatted base that adjusts to body weight and provides natural bounce for comfortable rest. The end-lift design means you can tuck away extra pillows, duvets or bags and keep your bedroom floor clear. The included headboard completes the look and keeps pillows in place through the night.

The gas pistons handle the weight smoothly and hold the base open while you sort storage. Sprung slats flex where pressure's highest, so the mattress feels supportive without feeling rigid. The stone grey finish works with a wide range of bedroom colours and styles. Supplied flat-packed with clear instructions, two people recommended for assembly. Comes with a manufacturer's one-year guarantee for reassurance.

The gas piston strength on this frame is 588 N. The maximum weight load for the Phoenix Ottoman frame is 350 kg and can support mattresses up to the weight of 45 kg. Please note the mattress needs to be on the bed for the pistons to work. Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 203 mm. Storage space dimensions: Headboard to centre divide - 119cm Footboard to centre divide - 74cm.
