The ULTRABOOST 500A Jump Starter is suitable for engines up to 3L Petrol and 1.6L Diesel. The new boost button enables you to jump-start vehicles with completely depleted batteries. Excellent kit
Very reliable bit of kit.Have jump-started 4 cars ranging from a 1.4 to a 2.9 engine. Fits into my gloves box perfectly. Really easy to use. Also a good stand by power bank.

Weak battery answer.
Purchased because on the day my car wouldn’t start, a neighbour used a similar device across my weak battery and it started instantly! I haven’t needed to use it yet because the car has always started. If you have a suspect battery then I’m convinced this is the temporary answer. Used it to charge my mobile which was handy. Not sure if everyone will get on with the instructions - mostly graphics. Easy to charge and use though.

Feels a bit cheap and was unable to jump my vehicle, despite its engine size being within the guideline size. I'll keep it just in case it comes in handy in the future, but I wouldn't count on it. For the price, you can get better alternatives online (or an equally good one for less).

Good jumpstarter for small batteries. Unfortunately not big enough for my 2.0 insignia but tried for smaller cars and doing the job

Clever design with in-built light and easily detachable connections. It also works as a power bank which is potentially quite useful in an emergency. It looks well built and sturdy, and it seems to hold the charge well. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that I will not be stranded because of a flat 12v.

Easy to use and works right away.
My car battery was completely flat. The Ring 500A was ready to use when I opened it. I was able to immediately start my car. I just connected the leads and IT WORKED IMMEDIATELY. It's an easy to use product and I was able to use my car straight away.

The powerbank arrived 3/4 full and was swiftly then charged to maximum. Having been connected to the battery for a short period, the engine of a 1100 Ford Fiesta was started on first attempt. This was a relatively new battery but the vehicle had hardly been used in a month and would not turn over. Pleased with ease of use.

No, the Ring 500A Ultraboost Jumpstarter & Powerbank does not come with SAE connectors. The jump starter unit comes with integrated "Lock 'n' Load" intelligent battery clamps which connect directly to the vehicle's battery terminals.
