The Acoustic Solutions Portable Bluetooth Speaker is built for taking your music wherever you go, whether that's out to the park, round to a friend's place, or just from room to room at home. Compact and lightweight with an acorn-shaped design, it slips into a bag easily, and with 6 hours of battery life, it'll keep playing through a long afternoon or evening without needing a top-up. You connect via Bluetooth to your iPhone, iPad or pretty much any other mobile, or use the 3.5mm AUX input if you'd rather plug in directly.
Inside there's a single speaker driver delivering 2W of output across a frequency range of 100Hz to 10000Hz, so your playlists come through clearly enough for casual listening and background music. It charges via USB, and the cable's included in the box along with the built-in Li-Ion battery. Setup's straightforward - pair it once and it remembers your device - and the whole thing sits on a desk, shelf or kitchen counter without taking up much space. You get a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee, and it's available in black.

No, it needs to be connected to some type of external device, e.g. iPod, iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth or by connecting the AUX port to an external device.
In terms of playing music that is on a USB memory stick, it might be possible to connect that stick to the external device and then the device to this speaker (depending on the device and set up you have).
