Great product, but pity no storage for podcasts
Great sound, good appearance and pretty simple to use. It took me some time to realise how to store pre-sets: could be better explained. But main criticism is that ti seems impossible to store podcast link or set pre-sets for them - if this can be done on iPhone, why not here too?

Nice device
Really cool from a general standpoint. The sound quality is stunning regarding the size of the device. A real pleasure to hear. Easy to use and nice look. One slight drawback is that when listening to a deezer playlist, pressing the back button doesn't allow to go back to the previous track but only to restart the current track (even if you press the button 25 times in a row!)

R2 Mk4 with remote and Oktiv
The radio is amazing. You have to get used to the controls a bit. The remote does some presets, I think 4 has already been mentioned. The table and bass go up increments of 2 which I don’t feel is very distinguishable either. However, the sound is clear and the display becomes logical after some usage / training. The instructions could be a bit more sequential and clearer perhaps. As a purchase? Yes, it’s pricey but I’ve always wanted one so I’m veryy pleased! Linking it up to my Sonos system with a Bluetooth RX/TX gadget or via its internet interface might be fun too?!Im not sure the latter would work yet. I was going for the darker colour one until this limited edition came out. Oh, the search for internet stations is in genres which can be hard to fathom when you are looking for Radio Caroline! I managed it though as you can see with a bit of effort. ( Replaced my Pure Evoke 3 with lovely SD2 Cards that can be slotted in. The beauty of the low tech with hi tech was the reason for choosing this in the past). So a game changer would be something unique on the R2 Mk5 that would attract the customer of the future here for this price? Oktiv appears to wok well and is fine. At first, I thought it wasn’t working as an app and I kept reloading it! It was, I just didn’t realise how to operate it at the start to acknowledge the radio was discovered already in the menu system, duh me.

Great sound and easy to use
I bought this item three weeks ago now and I certainly do not regret buying it. Don't try to compare this with a HiFi system as it is not, but a great stand alone system instead. It was so simple to setup and connect to the WiFi for the internet radio and any DAB channel we wanted to listen to. The sound quality is very good and also another easy adjustment from the one controller on the top. I found that there is a remote control that can be purchased separately but then I discovered the app that can be downloaded to your mobile phone which is even better as you then have a display showing all your saved channels and adjustments. overall a great addition for the room to sit, relax and listen to the music.

Exceeded expectations.
I waa looking for a quality radio for the kitchen to sit unobtrusively on a shelf. After careful research I bought the R2 without having heard it but was pleasantly amazed by the sound quality of.such a compact unit. The R2 effortlessly fills a large area with rich, warm sound. This has renewed my love affair with radio. I'm delighted with my purchase.

R2 mk4
I bought this a few months ago and have only just had broadband installation. It's a good looking design and easy to use and install. The wizard is great and it sounds great. The knob on top is well designed and easy to use as well. Nice one!

Excellent powerful sound
This is not a cheap product but it sounds fantastic, good quality workmanship and looks great. The bass is very impressive and dialogue is lovely and clear. It's a shame the remote is not included and has to be purchased separately. At this price I would've expected it to be shipped with the radio. Also you can only store 4 radio stations on the remote. Having siad that if your budget allows I would definitely recommend this product.
