The Ruark R2 DAB, DAB, FM and Internet Radio is a complete music system combining traditional radio and modern streaming in a stylish unit for kitchen or living room. With DAB, DAB, FM tuners, and internet radio, thousands of stations are at your fingertips, stored in presets for easy access. It supports Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer directly, while the Bluetooth receiver lets you stream from your mobile. Bluetooth integrates with your phone's volume controls, so you can adjust sound without reaching for the radio.
Sound-wise, it delivers 9 watts RMS with bass and treble controls that let you tweak the audio to suit your room or mood. The USB-C port handles both charging your devices and playback, and there's an auxiliary input for connecting an iPod or MP3 player, plus a headphone socket for private listening. Lovely music station
I bought the R2 mk4 to primarily listen to the radio on the kitchen. However Ive found it also very easy to stream music and Bluetooth. Its visually stylish and tje sound is good.

Awesome Audio Equipment
Having owned a pair of Ruark Talisman 2's previously but no longer,and needing a one box system for portable use as a secondary listening source, I knew immediately where to go. Yes, Ruark, the R2 mk4 is an amazing piece of kit for such size. Packing audiophile quality sound, with a huge array of sources. I can highly recommend this and other Ruark products 5 🌟 🤩

Fabulous radio
This is my second Ruark radio . The first one is an older model that I use in the kitchen. I loved the first one so much that I decided to buy another for a different room. The R2 mark 4 is very impressive. Firstly, it looks amazing and is evidently quality just from looking at the build. Secondly, the sound. I am not a radio expert but the quality of sound is absolutely staggering . It is versatile and easy to use. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone . I have in the past had Bose and loved them but for me the Ruark wins hands down !

I'm wanting to hear the Beach Boys
I don’t have a television and for several years have been listening to internet radio using my iPad and on Sunday mornings via my Arcam radio tuner and amp when listening to classical music on BBC Radio 3. After experiencing issues accessing the BBC Sounds app, I decided to buy myself a radio set which I hoped would provide quick access to a variety of stations. I chose the Ruarke after reading an excellent review in WhatHiFi. I’ve not been disappointed and after completing the set-up, I’ve been listening to internet radio every day since it was delivered. Whilst it isn’t possible to get FM or DAB radio where I live without an external ariel, the quality of sound from the Ruarke is excellent when listening to classical music or spoken word. I was particularly impressed by the sound of an upright bass when listening to a programme of jazz music. Volume levels are excellent and the sound carries well beyond my living room where the radio is situated. To date I haven’t used the radio to play music streamed by my iPad, but I have been tempted to listen to some more upbeat stations. The styling of the radio is very appealing, reminiscent of radios from the 1960’s, so much so that when I switch it on I’m wanting to hear the Beach Boys.

Better than my Bose
I had a Bose smart speaker with internet radio for years and loved it. Then they dropped the radio leaving me with just a blue tooth speaker. I was gutted I love the radio so I researched loads and took a gamble on R2 Mk4 expecting the sound quality to drop. I was wrong the R2 is brilliant it gives me all the radio I could ever need plus blue tooth to my iPhone and the sound quality is in my view even better than my Bose.

As new straight out of the box
Having reviewed several internet radios, Ruark was always at the top of the list. Definitely worth spending the extra money on the R2 Mk4. Well worth it for the sound quality which is superb! A lot of power for such a small unit.
