Bought and no record function. Software updates did t work. Unable to connect to TomTom account. Hours spent trying to fix and online to tech support.

Avoid - Not as good as previous models
I bought this to replace a previous TomTom that had stopped working. Very disappointed that the new version has LESS features than the old version. The old version could navigate to the postcode and house number but this one only navigates to postcode. The old version worked on its own, the new one connects to mobile and eats up data allowance so is expensive to run - be better off using Google Maps on a mobile. The old version had nice touches like voice input to change route which the new one doesn't have. The old one also allowed vehicle image and voice to be changed and the new one doesn't. The new version is very slow at giving instructions - tells you to turn AFTER the junction has been passed. Hard to hear even at full volume with traffic nose. It is advertised with 3 months free speed cameras but as week after battling with the AI chat bot, this is still not working. Very disappointed with purchase and can't return it as had to use it to find out how bad it was. Will never buy this brand again.

Replacement TomTom
We bought this to replace one we’d had for 5 years. We chose the same size and resolution is clearer. Happy with it. Cannot now understand how we ever managed without sat navs.

Speed camera updates is an annual subscription that can change. Please refer to TomTom for fees.
