Fabulous editon to any studio
Having purchased these a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't expecting great results, but needed something quickly that would do the job, These have now replaced my main studio microphones and are better than expected. The small and discreet format is perfect and the connectivity choices are spot on. These worked straight out of the box and have an excellent battery life. The charging case and storage bag is neat idea. All in all delighted.

Perfect for those just getting in to Vlogging
Purchased this set of 2 mics and transmitter around a month ago, initially for vlogging a trip to Norway in June with 2 GoPro cameras. When setting up the first time, they connect to the cameras very easily and the recorded sound is perfect for my needs. However, if you want to use them with your iPhone you will need to download the RODE reporter app as the iPhones native camera app won’t recognise the mics. But if you use the Blackmagic camera app instead of the native camera app, the mics work flawlessly. Just one to be aware of.

Easy to use and great sound
These miniature mics are exactly what I needed to create social media content! They plug and play straight into my iPhone (although I had to get an adapter off amazon for a lightning connector) which works amazingly well. Sometimes you have to turn them off and on again before recording to make sure they are 100% connected, but this is no bother! Really great and highly recommend. The sound quality is great, and the compact case and carry pouch are really great for taking them anywhere!

After one month of using the Dji Mic Mini, what a brilliant uncomplicated tool this really is, sync's seamlessly to the receiver and other devices via bluetooth, the battery life for such a small device(s) is remarkable. The audio captured is super clear and customisable post edit even down to volume levels which saves a lot of time on the edit, noise reduction mode is fantastic, fast install of the wind socks, the range of transmission is more than you will ever need it's just a fantastic bit of kit.

Product is good. App average. Store return is poor
The dji product has good build and the accessories and case are good, the only bad side to this product is the app is average. The connectivity is decent but their are occasoal drop outs with the app connection, meaning you would need to reconnect to the app when you go back on it .noise cancellation is ok, but there are other microphones with better noise cancellation, the item is practically new but argos refused to refund, since they said the seal is open on the packaging. As a argos customer this is poor

Our supplier has advised that the DJI Mic Mini wireless Microphone 2TX + 1RX + Charging Case will not connect directly with the Zoom H5 Recorder.
The Mic Mini Receiver could connect but you would need a Third Party 3.5mm jack to 3 pin XLR adapter cable to connect it.

The Mic Mini 2TX/1RX kit is compatible with the iPhone 14, but you'll need a Lightning adapter to connect the receiver to the phone.

The Mic Mini Kit is compatible with the original Osmo OM160 equipped with the Zenmuse camera. To use it, you will need to connect the kit's receiver to the external microphone input on the OM160.
