About this product
Keep every visitor in view from head to toe with the Ring Battery Video Doorbell Pro with Chime in Satin Nickel. This wireless doorbell delivers 1536p HD video, capturing anyone at your door and packages left outside. Radar-based 3D Motion Detection and Bird's Eye View pinpoint when and where motion starts on an aerial map, showing exactly when visitors arrive and where they go. Colour Night Vision and Low-Light Sight provide clear footage after dark using ambient lighting. It's wire-free, weatherproof and works seamlessly with Alexa via the Ring App.
The battery is included, so setup is straightforward with no wiring needed. A plug-in chime with 1 melody is included, and the operating distance reaches up to 9m. All mounting fixings are supplied for quick installation. Whether home or away, you get instant alerts on your smartphone when someone approaches, and can see, hear and speak to visitors through the Ring App. Motion detection keeps you informed of activity around your door, and the weatherproof build withstands all conditions. Works well
The doorbell works well most of the time. Having set the boundary for monitoring it seems to be variable as to what is picked up. It does detect motion outside of the boundary which can be a nuisance but it does miss events inside the boundary if they occur immediately after another event. Have tried various settings with mixed results. The picture quality is excellent, the sensors not so much.
