This drive works well, great value from argos. Very easy to move and expand the old OS disk to the new, using the samsung magician software which you can download. This also updates the firmware and monitors the drive.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 Internal SSD:
Samsung has tested and confirmed that the 980 PRO and 990 PRO with heatsink are compatible with the PS5.
The 990 EVO PLUS does not have a heatsink and is a PCIe 5.0 or 4x4 SSD. We cannot guarantee that this SSD will work in a PS5 without the heatsink and will not overheat.
