Another fantastic Shark
This is a mighty vacuum, bought as a Which Best Buy, to replace an elderly and decripit Shark which had served us very well (and that will be rennovated to be 'dirty jobs' machine). This thing has power! So much that I actually had to turn it down on the carpet. It has all the great Shark features we know and love: headlights, great filter, easy to clean and empty. And the controls are better and more intuitive on this one than our old machine. The only negative is that there is no 'stiff brush' attachment, but the two that it does come with are excellent. And in case it has not come across in this review, we are very happy with this purchase.

Sucks in a good way!
Having had a hard time trying to clean my mum's house with her resident cordless vac, I decided to leave my trusty Shark NZ801 with her and I got the NZ780 for home. It is lightweight and easy to move around, and has really strong suction. As a long time Shark user I am very happy with it so far, the lift-away function is as good with the bonus of larger capacity.

Great nifty hoover
Its a fabulous nifty little thing, it picks up hair amazingly, it makes my carpets look brand new and I a incredibly pleased with it

Good for pet hair
Only used a couple of times but so far so good. I have a household with a long haired dog, and 3 long haired adults. The hoover seems to be doing a thorough job and the anti hair wrap has worked. The light is helpful and like the stair tool. Only criticism would be : why do the accessory tools not fit properly on the sides of the hoover in their designated spots? They fall off as the gap for them seems too short

Waste of money, utter rubbish
Absolutely rubbish. The worst hoover for the most ridiculous price. Do not bother! It smells terrible with some weird canister that’s meant to neutralise smell, but mainly it’s far too big and heavy. It’s impossible to hoover with only 1 hand, too heavy and unwieldy

Amazing suction, lightweight and smells great
Bought a month ago. Frequently used, easy to manoeuvre, great suction, smells great

A Great Buy
I brought this for my daughter since she was moaning hers wasn't picking up the fluff and dust let alone the dog hairs. She was so surprised on how much hers was missing alot of grime and shocked how clean her carpet looked. Her hair is also an issue since she has long hair. Easy to move and it does an excellent job.

Great buy !
I bought this several weeks ago & I'm very pleased with its performance. Clearly my old Shark wasn’t lifting properly as you could see the difference immediately!! I hope this one lasts longer than my previous Shark!!

Fine
Bought 2 weeks ago. Not bad. Heavier than previous and difficult to use on one carpet. Not as manoeuvrable as previous but it’s fine. If only you could get everything back to my previous model.

Brilliant Vacuum
I had to replace my old Shark (RIP) after many years and I was worried I would not get another one as good. I have to say I’m extremely pleased with the new Shark. The dustpan is much bigger and I have a lot of floors to clean so not needed to empty as often. Anti hair wrap is a must for me. I also love the addition of the fragrance pot! Its suction power is incredible and it’s very easy to move around. It can be a bit heavy on the rug but if you put the setting on min it does help. Brilliant Vacuum Cleaner.

For thick or high pile carpets, switch your Shark Lift-Away vacuum to the carpet setting using the surface selector and tilt the handle back to activate the brush rolls. This will provide the best performance when cleaning thicker carpeted surfaces.
