Great Vacuum, Dreadful Power Cable.
The Shark PowerDetect Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner HZ4000UKT delivers impressively powerful suction, making short work of dust, debris, and pet hair across both carpets and hard floors. Despite its strength, it’s pleasantly not too noisy, which will make regular cleaning far less disruptive than expected. The DuoClean Detect feature works flawlessly and seamlessly adjusts from carpet to hard floor without the need to switch over manually A particularly nice touch is the Anti-Odour Technology, which genuinely makes the room smell fresh while vacuuming rather than leaving behind that typical “cleaner” smell. However, one disappointing aspect straight out of the box is the power cable. It’s far too stiff and was extremely difficult to untangle when first unpacked, which is frustrating and not what you’d expect from an otherwise premium-feeling appliance, as the cable is then would back on to the vacuum, I can only assume that this problem will repeat and vacuuming will be done with a zig zagged cable! Once set up, it performs very well, but the cable definitely lets down the experience. Overall, aside from the overly rigid cable, this vacuum offers excellent performance, thoughtful features, and strong cleaning results, making it a great option.

Great Shark Hoover
Got this last month. An excellent hoover, and with jointed stick, very handy for under the bed! It also has a nice long lead!, but it would have got 5stars if the lead retracted! One of my better buys!

Very disappointed with this item, when I unpacked it and put it together as instructed it wouldn’t stay upright? It kept tipping over so I sent it back

Great hoover for the price
Hoover is really good. Great pick up, accessories and maneuverability. Only downside is it is top heavy. The handheld part is quite heavy to use on its own. Would still recommend.

Fantastic Vacuum Cleaner
I am so glad I decided to buy the Shark PowerDetect Corded Stick vacuum cleaner. I did plenty of research beforehand and this one consistently came up in 'best buys'. It's so much lighter than my previous vacuum, no problems now with taking a vacuum upstairs. It's incredibly powerful and I love the automatic hard floor/carpet detection option. The headlights are a bonus as is the scented cartridge that leaves your room smelling lovely after use. The dust collection canister is small and does need emptying during use but that's a small inconvenience which I'm happy to put up with. The flex is firm to begin with but it eases with use and is plenty long enough to save having to change sockets from one end of the room to the other. All in all, I thoroughly recommend this vacuum.

Super suction
I bought this to replace a previous Shark vacuum - the suction is farm more powerful than previous models. The power detector works great between different floor types and the accessories give plenty of options for cleaning different surfaces. The cord is plenty long enough to do a flight of stairs and the canister is easy to empty - haven’t needed to change the filters yet so can’t comment on that. The head of the vac is a bit slimmer than the previous model and fits under all our furniture and radiators, which is a nice bonus. Not sure how the little air freshener thing works; I don’t usually like artificial scents but it’s not offensive and doesn’t affect the use of the vac.

My previous shark I’ve had for 7 years and never had any problems but I wanted to upgrade. This new machine is AMAZING! I’m so impressed with shark and a huge fan of their products but I thought my old one was good this one is even better! Vacuumed with the old one and then the new one and there was a full dust cup! The suction power on this you can definitely feel so I’m not sure it would be ideal for someone who didn’t have the arm strength to handle it but luckily it’s perfect for me. Huge saving too which was a plus! Hoping that the scent cartridges come back in stock

Shark Power Detect Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner.
The best and most powerful hoover, I have ever brought, and so glad, that I did. Been eyeing it up for quite awhile now, then got it in the black Friday sale straight away, and so glad that I did. It's the best and deepest cleaning hoover, into the carpet I have ever had, so picks up much more dirt and dust, than any other hoover does.

Flexible and powerful
Really flexible -- I like the ability to remove the top, add attachments directly to it, and use it as a handheld vacuum for stairs. Good cleaning power. Easy to empty. Comes with decent instructions!
