The Vax ONEPWR 1.5A Slide Battery Charger is designed specifically for Vax ONEPWR batteries, giving you a full charge from empty in just 3 hours. If you're in a rush and only need a quick clean, you can partly charge it in less time. It's a genuine Vax part, so it's built to work properly with your ONEPWR system. The charger uses just the energy it needs, then powers down automatically once the battery is fully charged to protect it from overcharging and keep things efficient.
The compact design means it fits easily on a worktop or tucked away in a cupboard without taking up much room, and the long power cord gives you flexibility on where you place it. It charges batteries individually and has built-in charging indicators so you know exactly where you're at. There's automatic timer cut-off, over-charge protection, short circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection built in. Batteries aren't included, and it comes with a 3 year manufacturer's guarantee.

This was to replace a faulty unit which was just out of warranty. It is an original part and works as expected, a bit on the pricey side for what it is, but i could pick it up the same day from my store which was great.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Vax ONEPWR 1.5A Slide Battery Charger.
The Vax ONEPWR 1.5A Slide Battery Charger is designed only for newer ONEPWR batteries that slide out of the machine and charge separately.
The BTTV1B2 battery is different, it is from an older model where: The battery is built into the machine. It charges using a plug directly into the vacuum, not a separate charger
Because of this, the ONEPWR slide charger is not compatible with the BTTV1B2 battery. Chargers for machines using the BTTV1B2 battery are now discontinued, and replacements are no longer available from Vax or their recommended suppliers.
