The HP LaserJet Pro M209dw is built for business owners and office managers who need reliable black-and-white printing that's fast, compact and doesn't compromise on performance. It prints at 29ppm for mono documents and delivers automatic two-sided printing at 18ipm, which is the fastest duplex speed in its class and means you're not waiting around for jobs to finish. Setup is easy with the HP Smart App's step-by-step guidance, and dual-band Wi-Fi with self-reset keeps connections stable across devices. Print from your smartphone or tablet using the HP Smart App or Apple AirPrint, and connect to PC or Mac via USB, Ethernet or wirelessly. Smart-guided buttons make navigation intuitive, and HP Auto-On and Auto-Off Technology powers the printer on and off to reduce energy consumption. The package includes the printer, black toner cartridge, dust cover, setup poster, power cord, and reference guide, using HP 135A or 135X toner cartridges.

Laser printer
I've had an hp laser printer before and installing this one seemed to utilise it's settings but there's a few years between them. That one just wouldn't connect one day. All's fine with this one. Laser printers all the way. On hp's website the toner cartridge was expensive. Perhaps this one has a lower capacity one? Hp have configered this one to not accept non originals. Oh, I was an IT manager before I retired. I don't need a colour laser one. I'd go to a place if colour was required.

Great for my needs
I needed a smaller printer that just printed black for documents etc, this is perfect for me. Easy to set up once I’d got my determined head on so very pleased with everything about it so far, not sure how much the replacement ink is but we’ll see how long the present one lasts and take it from there. Prints perfectly for my needs, neat and compact. Speed is great too!

Easy set up and cost effective if you do not print a lot. Had more expensive but they always stopped printing even though used branded refills. Think I just did not use them enough. May just do Black but can do the small amount of pictures at supermarket photo printer.
