The original one collapsed on second use and had to be exchanged. It doesn't seem to be the best quality construction.

I just think 3 arms looks better than 4. I knocked off a star because the bit at the bottom which you cement unto the ground is plastic not metal, and it has a hole in the bottom so all the cement will ooze up inside unless you block it first.

Difficult to fully extend
Smaller than I expected and difficult /impossible to fully open so have had to leave it half extended so quite low to ground. Otherwise good quality for the price

Fantastic unit
This dryer is fantastic, large capacity ad I cut the old pole at 1.5ft, this new one fitted inside the old one so no need to dig and concrete the new one in. Absolutely fantastic.

Sturdy and well designed for the price
I bought this last week to replace my line of 25 years! Still getting used to it only having three sides but it holds just as much washing as my old one. Seems sturdy. Very reasonably priced. Easy to open if you are tall and have strong fingers - if not you may need to ask for help. I have decided to keep it up all the time as I wouldn't be able to open and close it easily. Glad I decided to hold off buying a cover. I fix my line using a concrete parasol holder so I can make no comment on how easy it is to use the spike that came with it to fix it in the ground but there were instructions. I suspect it won't last as long as my old one but neither will I probably :)

Efficient rotary airer
I bought this rotary airer recently. It comes with a post to concrete into the ground so I can remove the dryer when not in use. The dryer is efficient and holds a good amount of clothing etc. Pleased with product and cover which was cheap in the sale. A good buy.

The Argos Home 40m 3 Arm Rotary Airer does come with a ground socket included when you purchase the full airer. However, if you're looking to buy a replacement ground socket separately, Argos does not sell individually ground sockets on their website.
Many rotary airers use standard-sized poles (the Argos model has a 32mm diameter pole), so a universal ground socket that fits 32mm poles should work.
