After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Aspley Bathroom Flush to Ceiling Light - Black: ''There is very little space behind the collar of this light fitting; however, the wiring will be concealed inside the hole in the wall, so it should still provide a neat finish.''

The glass shade is screwed on, just unscrew it and replace the bulb.

It is not recommended to connect this product to the same switch as an extractor fan. We haven’t conducted any compatibility testing for this setup, and doing so could pose electrical safety risks or lead to malfunction.

The supplier has advised the following for the Argos Home Aspley Bathroom Flush to Ceiling Light - Brass:
“ Loosen the Earth terminal screw and wrap the earth cable clockwise around the exposed thread. Ensure
the Earth cable is under the serrated washer and re-tighten the terminal screw. Take care not to trap any
wiring.
It's on the top area above the L and N. ”

According to Wiring Regulations, Zone 2 is an area stretching 0.6m outside the perimeter of the bath and to a height of 2.25m from the floor. It is good practice to regard the area around a wash basin, within a 60cm radius of any tap as zone 2.
Outside Zones is anywhere outside zones 0, 1 and 2 (subject to specific limits) and where no water jet is likely to be used.
If in any doubt, or where required by the law, consult a competent person who is registered with an electrical self-certification scheme. Further information is available online or from your Local Authority.
