Remington hot air styler
I bought this for myself to save time with a regular brush and hairdryer. I love the colour of this item, and the bristles are quite soft and don’t pull lots of your hair out. There is two power settings 3 would have been better. It is easy to clean after use, and not too bulky to hold. The two heads that come with it, attach to the base easily, and the length of the flex cord is a good length, to enable me to dry my hair in front of my wardrobe mirror.

Burnt the first time using it plastic melted burnt my daughters hand I have contacted Remington personally about the quality of item awaiting response I have never had a problem with any products from Remington until this one. Very upsetting was a Christmas present and my daughter burnt her hand and our house smelt of burning residue on Christmas Day. Very disappointing

Coconut infused hair styler
Bought this a couple of weeks ago and it's great I used to dry my hair then have to straighten it I don't bother with straightners now, hair is not stick straight I like a bit of bounce and movement in my hair. I have naturally wavy to curly hair and it looks quite wayward if I don't straighten after blow drying but with this appliance, I don't need straightners love the product. I use it on a morning on dry hair if it's a bit frizzy underneath after sleeping on it works great.

Thanks for your query about the Remington Coconut Smooth Hot Air Styler AS5901.
This would depend on what you mean by short. It won’t do much or anything for something like a crew cut of course as it would not be possible. But, assuming you’re not meaning this short of course, yes it could be used with short hair, e.g. a bob. It would still be the case though that, the shorter the hair, the less you’d be able to wrap it round the brushes and this may limit the amount of curl and the achievable range of resulting styles.

This styler brush can be used to achieve smooth and sleek hair, but it may not give exactly the same effect as traditional hair straighteners
If you're looking for a gentler, multi-purpose tool that gives a blow-dry effect with smoothness and volume, the AS5901 is a great choice.
However, if you want pin-straight, flat hair, a traditional straightener might be better.
