About this product
This McGregor pole hedge trimmer gives you 18V of Li-Ion cordless power and no trailing cables. Cordless power allows you to work anywhere, without the risk of cutting the cable. Dual action blades deliver fast, clean cuts with less vibration and an electrical blade brake ensures increased safety. Pole extends from 1.8m to 2.15m making it ideal for the taller hedge. Comes supplied with 2Ah battery and charger.
Telescopic shaft ranging from 1.73m - 2.15m.
Head angle adjustment.

Happy with trimmer
I'm a 70 year old 5 foot 1 inch woman with a dodgy shoulder and need this to trim the top of a long hedge. It is a bit top heavy but this is to be expected, if it was lighter it would not do the job required efficiently. So I just cut the hedge in segments. Battery charges reasonably quickly and lasts for a reasonable length of time. Pleased with purchase at a good price.

Sound buy
I’ve used this a few times now, not on hedges but on brambles and long grass and it does a good job. A little heavy but not restrictively so. Overall a decent purchase I think.

I have used this for cutting overhanging branches and hedges. It’s easy to use and extremely versatile. Seems to be excellent value for money. Very good reach and not overly heavy. Good safety features. Slightly unwieldy when extended but I’m not tall. The battery charge lasts well too.

I waited until in stock as I had the small cutter as well It was with the weight. It is a great hedge trimmer. Good reach quick charge and not too heavy. No trailing wires - great. The cutter slip on guard is a bit flimsy and hard to slip on. That's the only criticism

On checking I can see this is able to cut through branches of up to 14mm so provided the branches are no thicker than this it will be suitable.
