Reaching tall hedges without a ladder gets easier with the McGregor Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer. It's an 18V Li-Ion tool that extends from 1.8m to 2.15m. You'll work anywhere without cables trailing across the garden. The dual action blades cut cleanly through branches. They reduce vibration compared to single action designs. Laser cut blades stay sharp through regular use. This cordless trimmer comes with a 2Ah battery and charger.
The pole adjusts to your working height for better reach. You'll angle the head to match hedge shapes and corners. It's lightweight at 3.1kg so overhead work won't tire you. Well made and quite easy to use. You can adjust the angle and the length to get to awkward corners, low or or high. Good value for such a well designed product. Takes a little while to get the hang of manoevring it using the support of the shoulder holster.

Superb garden tool
Fantastic bit of kit. I’ve used several different hedge trimmers over the years but this is the first time I’ve had a cordless one. What a game changer. I can move it around freely without worrying about cutting the wire or getting tangled in the overgrowth. Very easy to use and not too heavy. I’m 5’2 and I can manage this easily. Cuts wonderfully and I have a large currently very overgrown garden. More than pleased with my purchase.

I have a disability that affects my co-ordination, This trimmer enables me to keep garden hedges trim easily and safely. It is easily charged before use and stores very easily on a hook in the garage.

Good laurel cutter
Overall happy. Enough run time to do 10metres of hedge. Weight is fine with the shoulder strap. Price seems reasonable compared to similar products. Ok for cutting laurels foliage, though it did struggle with the thicker trunk parts and got stuck a few times which are probably beyond its design limits. Hacked through it eventually though. Would recommend ear defenders for prolonged use but it wasn't overly loud.

Great value for money
I normally buy B&Q own brand, but because they were out of stock I dropped into Argos. The trimmer was much cheaper. It was essentially ready to go out of the box. The blades are well spaced so they go through thicker stems. It is lighter than the B&Q one and just as powerful. You get no sense that the quality has been compromised for price. A lucky find.
