The Dyson Cool AM07 Tower Fan generates smooth, powerful airflow for personal cooling. Like all Dyson bladeless fans, it uses Air Multiplier technology to draw in surrounding air, creating powerful air projection. Some fans are quiet but weak; others are powerful but noisy. AM07 is quiet and powerful. There's also a remote control for precise airflow control, and a sleep timer – am07 can be programmed to turn off after preset intervals, for ease of use throughout the night.

Excellent Fan
Bought this for use around the home especially re hot weather. Have used mostly in bedroom, have kept running all night & got a great night’s sleep. On the lower settings, the fan is not unduly noisy & the oscillating feature distributes cold air effectively. The timer function is useful if you’d like the fan to turn off once you’ve fallen asleep. Looks good, nice sleek design & is lightweight so easy to move around the house. Magnetic remote is a nice touch to keep safely with the device.

This really isn't worth the price point
We bought this a couple of weeks ago. Immediately we noticed it's incredibly noisy to operate and sounds like a jet engine on the higher settings. We struggled to hear our TV over it. It also didn't seem to be that effective. I have to say, if it were far cheaper than this it would be just about OK but when you pay around £350 or more you expect exceptional performance. We returned it and replaced it with a far more effective, much quieter and far cheaper Duux model. And we were able to hear the TV - the Duux fan is not intrusive at all.

The remote sits on top of the fan, with the buttons facing down. Please see the link below, this will take you to the operating instructions. This remote shows under 'Control'.

You will notice the remote is arched a little so it fits on the arch of the fan. Right on top of it.
