The Dyson Cool AM07 Tower Fan generates smooth, powerful airflow for personal cooling. Like all Dyson bladeless fans, it uses Air Multiplier technology to draw in surrounding air, creating powerful air projection. Some fans are quiet but weak; others are powerful but noisy. AM07 is quiet and powerful. There's also a remote control for precise airflow control, and a sleep timer – am07 can be programmed to turn off after preset intervals, for ease of use throughout the night.

I bought this Dyson fan because I’ve heard it was quiet, lightweight and very cooling. I have not been disappointed. It has been an absolute lifesaver in this unbearable heat. I thoroughly recommend this fan. It’ll cost a bit more, but it’s worth every penny.

I had high expectations but very disappointed
I deliberated so long over purchasing this fan. A Northern Ireland mini heatwave persuaded me… there are 10 settings so you could keep it on low all night without being too loud. Also if you’re menopausal and need a wee boost it cool it’s great. However, if the room is 26+ degrees it just circulates warm air. It doesn’t cool the room down. We are in Belfast where it is milder and honestly I don’t think it would be too effective in England where it’s regularly hotter!

Just to put the rumours to bed this fan does actually cool the room down fast the actual arc of wind coming out the tower amplifie the speed like a chill tunnel that’s on 10 full speed on 1&2 for nights it’s very quiet & easy to move around saved me from buying an air conditioner at twice fan price excellent build quality it’s smooth operating quietly .

The remote sits on top of the fan, with the buttons facing down. Please see the link below, this will take you to the operating instructions. This remote shows under 'Control'.

You will notice the remote is arched a little so it fits on the arch of the fan. Right on top of it.
