I can advise that you screw the bracket of the Tapo C460 4K Smart Battery Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Camera to the wall then the camera is held magnetically to the base.

SD card is needed when you required local recording storage. Tapo C460 supports up to 512 GB SD card.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Tapo C460 4K Smart Battery Outdoor Wi-Fi Security Camera.
The TP-Link Tapo C460 comes with a 10,000 mAh rechargeable battery, which in TP‑Link’s own lab tests lasts up to 200 days on a full charge, assuming around 270 seconds of usage per day (live viewing + recording)
You can consider adding our Tapo solar panel option A201 model which can improve the usage and extend another 2-3 months to the battery life of the camera model.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the TP-Link Tapo C460 4K Smart Wi-Fi CCTV Security Camera: ''Yes, once your Tapo C460 is mounted on an outside wall, you can change its viewing angle—but only manually by rotating the camera on its magnetic base. There’s no automatic pan/tilt motor or remote rotation built in.''

There is no monthly charge for camera if you never subscribed a Tapo Care service.

It has been updated and now supports 24,7 recording
Although the battery will obviously take a hit id suggest getting the camera with the included solar panel and even then itll struggle on overcast days

Here are some mounting tips for your reference:
1. Avoid placing behind glass. Glass will obstruct the motion sensor of your camera.
2. Choose a proper location to mount your camera, or it will be triggered too often by false alarms.
• Avoid pointing the camera directly at swaying trees.
• Avoid pointing the camera directly at vehicles and pedestrians on the road.
• Avoid pointing the camera directly at street lamps and sunlight.
3. Mount your camera to the side so that movement goes across the len’s field of view to better trigger motion detection and AI detection
4. Tilt the camera downwards at an angle of about 15°
5. Do not place the camera upside down.

Tapo cameras support remote control by default without additional setup. As long as the device is connected to the internet and stays online, you can view and control Tapo cameras remotely with Tapo App on a smartphone and other mobile devices. Please note that your mobile devices should also have internet connection.

2. Regular SD cards are typically designed for digital cameras and may not be suitable for continuous recording. They are not recommended for use with dash cams, home monitoring, or security systems.

1. Always make sure to buy from an authorized seller. Be careful about cheap SD cards. Do not buy used or refurbished SD cards.
