About this product
Keeping a small garden neat is easier with the McGregor 31cm Electric Corded Rotary Lawnmower. It's a 1200W electric mower that cuts through denser grass patches without slowing down. The winged steel blade improves airflow so grass collects efficiently into the box. You'll manoeuvre it easily thanks to lightweight construction and soft grip handles. The 10m corded power supply means consistent performance for the whole job. It's designed for smaller gardens where portability and storage matter most.
You'll adjust cutting height to three positions from 20mm to 60mm. The 30L collection box reduces how often you stop to empty clippings. Torque Drive delivers steady power as you work across your lawn. The folding top handle drops down for compact storage in sheds or garages. It's got a quick stop blade brake and two handed starting switch. This corded mower suits homeowners with smaller outdoor spaces to maintain.

Customers Say
Lightweight, easy to assemble and use lawnmower ideal for small gardens. Cuts grass well with multiple height settings, though adjusting height is inconvenient. Grass box is small and some parts feel flimsy, but great value for money.

Small lawnmower
Had previously purchased a number of years ago and would have given 5 stars but they have made a few changes which unfortunately I didn't realise until after purchase. No easy lever to adjust height for cuts as before you have to unscrew each wheel to reset not convenient at all should have left model as it was the only improvement in my opinion is the box to collect grass is now plastic

Good lawnmower
I bought this last week as my flymo had broken down. I was looking for something not too expensive so when I saw this was reduced from £60 to £50 I ordered it. It’s light enough for me to push as I have frozen shoulders and it also cuts really well. My only complaint is the grass collection box is quite small so continually emptying it.

Very impressed
Great little lawn mower. Bought this as a bit of an emergency purchase, when our previous one died mid cut. It’s light, easy to manoeuvre and powered through our uneven, quite tricky garden. Great for smaller gardens and small enough that it’s easy to store.

Great budget mower!
Easy to put together. Light weight. Cuts grass better than my old Flymo. You can change height of wheels to adjust cutting height which is easier than adjusting the blade. Only criticism would be it feels flimsy, especially the cutting box but well worth it for the price.

Little work horse
I bought this product over 5 years ago despite it being suggested for small gardens i cannot handle a larger mower because i have painful joints. I have a quarter of an acre garden most of which is meadow grass but this little mower has been a work horse. Also it seems stronger than the one i had and easier to put wheels and handles on. On top of all this it was the same price as my old one £60. I orded one afternoon and it arrived next day by 7.30 am. Delivered by a nice lady. Thank you and as always Argos delivered on time which is why i always go back to them either delivered or in store. Susan

We recommend cutting no more than 1/3 of your grass's length. For this mower we would recommend cutting grass no longer than 90mm / 9cm.
Excessively long grass can be cut with a grass cutter first.
