The Sony SRS-XV500 is a portable Bluetooth party speaker built for gatherings that keep going, with 25 hours of battery life so you can stream music from sunrise well into the night without hunting for a socket. Whether you're hosting in the living room, out in the garden, or taking it to a friend's place, the dual carry handles make it easy to move around, and IPX4 water resistance means the odd splash or drizzle won't stop the fun. You can even plug in a karaoke mic and turn any evening into a singalong.
Inside are 4 internal speakers with bass reflex design delivering party volume across the full 20Hz to 20,000Hz range, so bass hits hard and vocals stay clear even when cranked up. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet, with a 3.5mm AUX input for wired use. The Sony Music Centre and Fiestable apps let you tweak sound modes and lighting effects. A 10-minute quick charge gives 2.5 hours playback if you're short on time, or plug into mains to run indefinitely. Great sound - works well with Sony Ultra mics and has a Jack port spare for an electric guitar too. At 11kg, it’s not practically portable and if you want that, you need the next one up with wheels (and extra cost. Build-quality is good and it’s not out of place with a permanent home in a discreet corner for frequent use between open plan lounge area, kitchen. and garden patio. Cost felt on the high-side, but having read all above, it seems better vfm than I first thought.

Amazing sound, and the bass is very good. Easily portable being wireless which is the main reason I went for this speaker. It has excellent battery, definitely seems to last ages. Like all speakers these days its very easy to connect and to get started with a simple press of a button. Feels and looks high quality and durable, recommend for a very good sound quality.
