More accessory option please
I've had this a year now and it's pretty good. My only complaint is the lack of a long tube with a brush end (not crevice tool) so you can hoover up small messes without bending right down.

Won't buy another shark
I've only had my hoover for 18 months and despite cleaning the filters and emptying the dust cup etc. the hoover isn't picking up the simplest of things, in fact, when you pick it up to use it after it's been stood, there's a pile of dust and debris on the floor

Great cordless vacuum, but one design flaw!
I have been very pleased with my Shark Stratos so far. The suction is strong, it feels solidly built, and I am happy to say I have not experienced any of the squeaky wheels or battery issues that sometimes appear in other reviews. That said, my main criticism became apparent quite early on. The floor head release mechanism requires you to press a small button by hand to detach the large floor head. On my previous corded Shark there was a proper foot pedal for this, which meant you could quickly release the head without bending down. This is particularly noticeable when you just want to quickly use the tube to get into corners, go over dusty skirting boards, clean under small tables, or reach the tight spaces between furniture. Having to bend down every time to press the button becomes quite impractical during a normal clean. In practice, this feels like quite a significant design oversight. Anyone looking for a truly convenient vacuuming experience may find it frustrating because you end up bending down repeatedly. Over time it does feel like unnecessary strain on the back, and for a vacuum at this price point it is surprising that such a basic ergonomic feature was not included. One cannot help but wonder whether the person who designed this feature tested it in a showroom rather than in a real home. I moved to cordless mainly for the freedom it gives you, which is definitely a big plus. So if that flexibility is important to you, this is still a very good product. Just bear in mind that the head release design makes it less practical in everyday use.

Perfect
Simply amazing,I couldn't be happier with this vacuum cleaner. It is super compact,really lightweight and so easy to clean. Storage space in my house isn't great so the fact that this folds up so small is perfect. It's great at picking up dirt from my carpets and from my hard floors. I love the antiodour technology and I feel like my house is so much cleaner since using. The anti-hair wrap technology is brilliant ,we are a house of long haired girls so really need an anti-hair wrap vacuum that is easy to clean. The battery is long lasting and charges quickly. Overall this shark vacuum cleaner is absolutely perfect for my household and I don’t think I’ll ever consider another brand for my household tech and products.

Stratos cordless hoover
I upgraded my other ninja cordless to this one and it is a very good upgrade. However as the other reviews have stated it is very squeaky which is a shame as apart from that one floor it is a very good upgrade.

Ease to glide around from carpet to hard flooring
I bought this yesterday, absolutely best money I have spent, powerful suction, easy to move around and change tools, as I'm getting older it's ideal to use on stairs, I would highly recommend it.

This unit features two rollers: a brush roll and a soft roller. It is important to note that only the soft roller can be removed for cleaning. If any hair becomes entangled in the brush roll, you should continue cleaning using the carpet setting on hard floors, low-pile carpets, or small area rugs. If some fibers remain wrapped around the brush roll after continued use, please remove them carefully. To detach the soft roller from the nozzle, simply pull it out by the tab.
