About this product
Introducing a revolutionary cordless vacuum from the Shark Stratos collection. Enjoy Shark's best ever hair pick-up with Anti Hair Wrap Plus, removing long, short and pet hair from the brush-roll as you clean. Glide from carpets to hard floors with DuoClean – 2 brush-rolls in 1 floorhead. The Anti Hair Wrap Plus brush-roll cleans deep into carpets, drawing out embedded dirt and picking up hair, while a soft front brush-roll pulls in debris and lifts stuck-on dust from hard floors. LED headlights illuminate hidden dust and pet hair.
Clean Sense IQ automatically detects dirt and adjusts cleaning power, for up to 50% more dirt pick-up (Versus Shark IZ400UK in ECO mode) Anti-Odour Technology protects against bad odour inside the vacuum for a fresher-smelling home.
The Flexology wand bends to clean under low-lying furniture and folds for freestanding storage. Transform into a handheld vacuum to easily clean stairs, sofas, in the car and more. Includes a Multi-Surface Tool, 8 Crevice Tool and accessory bag.
Enjoy up to 60 minutes of run-time (in eco power mode, with non-motorised tool) and charge the removable battery pack on or off the vacuum, wherever suits you. The LED Smart Display shows battery status and suction level.
Anti-Allergen Complete Seal captures and traps 99.9% of dust and allergens inside the vacuum, not releasing them back into the air you breathe (Based on IEC standard 62885-2 Cl. 5.14 at 0.3 to 10 microns).

Shark cordless great purchase
I like the fact that the battery can be charged anywhere in the house, like my current cordless

Heavy, noisy....not for me!
I am a great fan of Shark / Ninja products, unfortunately this is not one for me; it is heavy and noisy. The charge is awful. I also don't feel that the suction is great, it feels as though it is gliding over the carpet and not really cleaning. Not being able to store the tools with the vacuum is also a pain. I don't really like anything about it. In hindsight I should have returned it within the 30 days.

Poor battery
I bought two shark hoovers the lift away Stratos very good hoover a bit heavy so I bought a cordless one as I have MS and having problems with the battery as it won’t charge and then bought a second batter and they same thing when you put battery in it it lights up and then it says 09 and it won’t do anything as it’s only a year old I grudge spending any more money on it only to be disappointed if it does not go . So I will not recommend it as the cordless is like new.

Wish I'd never bought it
Wish I'd never bought this hoover. The 'anti-hair wrap' filter at the front clogs up with hair every five minutes, and so you have to remove it or otherwise all that dirt is just swept back over the bit you are trying to clean. The 'sense' clean already doesn't work, so it's stuck full-on all the time, so the battery lasts about 8 minutes. It's awkward to manoeuvre (terrible on stairs), and I really wish I'd stuck to Dyson!

Run time is terrible, battery finishes in 10 min
The run time is absolutely awful. On normal power the suction is compromised and doesn’t remove dust and dirt properly and on boost power the battery drops within seconds and you cannot run it for more than 8-10 minutes so you always left with a room that is half vacuumed.

Hello there,
The maximum vertical height of the Shark Stratos Anti Hair Wrap+ Cordless Vacuum Cleaner when flat is 7.5 cm (approximately 3 inches).
Thanks for using Q&A
You can use your Shark Stratos without the Odour Neutraliser Technology system. Simply remove the odour cartridge from the dial housing and reinstall the dial cover into the nozzle without the cartridge. The vacuum will continue to function normally, just without the added scent feature.
The LED lights located on the battery are pulsing white when the battery is fully charged, and green when from 76-99%.

No, not fully upright without leaning against wall. Designed to fold
Yes it does, and you can also fold the wand if you would like to store it in a tighter space.
As the unit is powered by a chargeable battery, you don't have to plug it in a socket.
The brushrolls are always engaged when the motorized floor head is powered, and it doesn't have a on/off button. But you can also use the handvac only to hoover as well.
Yes, it is the same model. IZ400UK refers to this Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Plus cordless vacuum and the Rose Gold version is a this color option.
