Faulty manufacture - cannot recommend
Looked like nice set of tables - just what we wanted but - Had to be returned - faulty manufacture. One of the prongs that connect the legs to the base of the large table was bent out of line - could possibly have done something about that BUT two of the pieces of the frame designed to support the glass top were also bent up - not prepared to put glass under strain by attempting to fix them. Never got as far as looking at the other two tables. What a waste of our time. Only later did I read other reviews to find we were not the only ones to have had this problem.

The manufacturers answer, does not really answer my question. The glass is clear - it is the printing of the marbling effect which is predominantly magenta over white, rather than the grey tone over white as shown in the photos.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Boutique Nest of 3 Tables - Marble Effect: This table top is made of clear glass with printed marble effect under on it.
The colour should be normal glass colour.

Glass, but get the store to check the item before taking it home. I have bought 3 sets of these tables and they all had the same issue, the marble wouldn't fit into the middle table. The tables are nice to but the quality has been terrible
